Matt Ryan has been doing very well for me so far, but everyone is talking about Smith being the weeks sleeper at QB. I'm not even sure I wanna risk that though since Ryan puts up solid points but Chargers have been playing pretty well defensively where as Vikings are sleeping in field. Any thoughts?

Chargers beat up on 2 bad teams (Raiders and Titans) so their numbers are skewed. Falcons beat 1 easier team and one more respectable team (Denver). Also in the Monday night game, they slowed up and played more cautious/defensively 2nd half to just hold on to their lead. I've seen some predicting a 31-3 Viking stomp. The safer pick will be Matty Ice, but Smith will likely put up nice numbers this week.Comment -

No reason to, its really just am act of out thinking yourself. Over the last 18 regular season games, Smith as had just 3 games where he's topped 250yrds, and just 1 game where hes thrown 3 TDs, and five where hes thrown zero.
Ryan, meanwhile, has topped 250 in 11 of those 18 game and 300 6 times, hes also had just 1 game where he hasnt had a TD, and 6 Where he had 3 or more.
It may well turn out that Alex Smith has a better week than Ryan this week, but there is no logical reason to think so, and banking on it happening in just throwing darts.Comment -
