thursday...

tulsa over 48.5 for 3 units: teams have played 4 times...and each time it has went WAY over this total. tulsa is not real strong up front, and i think this will allow ucf to do what they want on o. ucf pass d not great lately, and i think tulsa can score on anyone. interesting game as far as the side...but only what looks to be an easy over play for me.

miami ohio under 47.5 for 2 units: was all ready to jump on the over here based on what i thought i knew...but a closer look shows 2 very terrible o's. very ugly game here, and likely closer than 14...but i like the under better.

florida state under 44 for 2 units: man fsu should beat them up...but i just got a funny feeling this game is close. fsu d has been playing really well lately, and the only way it could be close is a really ugly game. safer play of the 2 i am thinking as even in an fsu beatdown of bc, the eagles might not score at all and it would still likely go under.

friday...

usc -22 for 2 units: just seems like a play sure to lose...but you gotta lay the points here if you play it. usc should destroy the buff's secondary. even in case of bad weather i still think usc would cover. maybe we get backdoored or whatever...but i just see nothing at all to say colorado is an option.

kent state over 42.5 for 3 units: i think things here kind of even each other out, if that makes sense. the great kent d is offset by a really potent c mich o...and the terrible kent o is offset be a fairly weak c mich d. these 2 traditionally play very high scoring games. i don't know about high scoring here...but over this total seems likely. more funny line movement early on a kent game this week means any play on the spread is just guessing and not smart.

if it was a bigger bet i might do it...but i bet weeknight small. they have been getting beat much worse than 21 by everyone...so unless bad weather it shouldn't matter.

texas tech over 60.5 for 4 units: had a large writeup on this one last night as it is my fav big 12 over this week...but as i go to post it my net slows down or something and i get a refresh page please...lol. look at the stat's and you will see that based on what tech gives up and who it is against, texas is good for 35 at the least against this d...and i strongly feel if it is at this low end of 30-35 points by texas then they lose str8 up. the texas pass d is really bad and tech will score some points. i like tech + the points as well, but with what happened last week feel this is the safer play.

oklahoma -13 for 4 units: not posting much on this one. people call me a homer because i live in oklahoma...tho i really dislike ou. i know oklahoma football tho, and i know big 12 football...and i am certain i have a winning % well above 60% if i could only force myself to bet only big 12 all year. not right every game of course...but over the year. i watched a clip of stoops fighting back tears after the kstate game and saying this was the greatest team win of his career. also heard a lot of the players talking this week, and this team is all about mopping the floor with somebody right now. the talent and coaching in this matchup clearly are on the ou side...add focus and a team rallying around starting a new home win streak, it is really obvious. save your opinions people...this is a beating.

kansas +14 for 4 units: if i played moneylines i would actually consider this one. kansas coming off a brutal stretch of games where they have been humiliated...and now they see little bro who they have beaten 5 of the last 6. the awful iowa state run d will come into play here as kansas can run the ball...and i believe this will set up the kansas o to be comfortable and do what they want all day. the terrible kansas pass d does not come into play however, the way it has as of late. just one of those games where i think a lot of people are feeling a close one, and maybe a ku win.

mizzou +3 for 4 units: i may not leave the big 12 this week...lol. i have so much more respect for mizzou than i do baylor after watching both of them against ostate. this just looks a lot like the a+m game baylor played to me. they will face almost exactly the same matchup problems, and as the 2nd half goes on they will begin to lose those battles, and mizzou will pull away. just my opinion, but i am really loving mizzou as a road dog.

ucla +10 for 4 units: i was shocked to see this so high. ucla with a big win last week to even their record, and now coming home feeling good. i really think with the coaches job on the line you will see some fight from ucla this week. another ml i might consider if i played them...lol.

lsu +6 for 2 units: this one is for fun. i feel like lsu is the better overall team, and +6 seems nice.

I think the coaching is even, but I do think Tannehill is twice the QB of Landry Jones. The good news is that OU is a much better team. Our odds on the spread are basically the same as ML. If OU wins, they win big, but they have proven to be inconsistent. A&M and Tannehill will come out throwin', so it will be a great game to judge OUs biggest ? in their passing D....Overall I think OU is way too pissed off and they will be until they meet OK State in the end.

yeah we could get into a deal and argue and post stats all day about the qbs and coaches...but i am not a fan of either coach or qb, and don't care enough to do it...lol. in the end it is just about each person's opinion and perception of the player\coach...and that is unlikely to change based on anything either of us could post in an online forum. sometimes you don't know what you will get from oklahoma...but i have learned that in those spots where you do, you need to unload on them. by that i mean any time they lose a big game or people are questioning them or saying they may lose this game...those seem to be the spots these coaches and these players thrive on. i am certain 100% you will see an inspired effort by oklahoma saturday...and i feel they are better than a+m by 2 tds+ talent wise. just my opinion tho, and i am often wrong...lol.

Last year they got beat by Missouri only 2 weeks before they were beat by Texas AM. Tannehill is the better qb by a mile. Feel free to argue for Landry Jones, but he might as well be Garrett Gilbert....

That said in 2009 OU beat AM by 55 points so they might've been shocked when AM went up on them 19-0 by halftime. This year it's revenge...and after giving up the biggest upset of the year these dudes will be pissed even after they're playing on sundays.

As bad as AM is, there are some worse teams for me to go big on this week. Still going with OU, but just a small play for me. No such thing as 100%

69-52-2 and +34.4 units after tonight. split the first 2 weeknight games this week with 5 remaining plays before saturday...but by the way some in here talk you would think i just lost my entire roll and need to just give up. a 2 unit loss on a weeknight game does not bother me at all...but some of the stuff i read here just pisses me off and reminds me why i quit posting plays a few years back. some here i have respect for and love to talk game with...but others really, and i mean really, have no clue about anything. anyways...on to tomm.

gonna add one and come out on the "square" side of the tulsa game...lol. so many on here making such a big deal out of it, so i looked at it for a while today. seems like the games where ucf can run well they are good for some points...but the tulsa run d has been really good lately. i liked it when i first looked at the games this week, but i locked in on the total. small weeknight play on tulsa +110 for 2 units.

78-57-2 and +45.1 units after a crazy day. would have been 5-1 today if i wouldn't have added the early action plays this morning. gained 7 units on the day tho, and my boys squeaked by in a game that had me pulling my hair out...so not a bad day overall. gl next week fellas.

man i thought i bet that mizzou game at +2...but i look at my sheet and sure enough +3 and a push. my guy is gonna be bringing me some cash this week. 78-56-3 and +49.1 units is the accurate total for the season. my mind is not sharp at all tonight. this ostate game was the first one this season i didn't enjoy...it was brutal as a fan. then like 5 minutes after the game we get rocked by an earthquake...much larger than i thought possible in oklahoma. i moved here from california, and i have been in a couple...but i don't remember hearing the ground rumble and moan like this. it was pretty scary. state game stressed me the f out, and then the earthquake sealed a rough night. gl all next week guys. i will add this again tomm when i balance my book, just to make sure i don't post the wrong totals here. i never add in my little parlays and teasers, so this is a little different from my actual balances...but just mainly being used to track myself this year anyways.
