He calls timeout with 30 seconds left when MSU was going to let the clock expire. It was 3rd down. Even if they stop them on 3rd and punt, Wisconsin would get the ball deep in their own end with less than 15 seconds left?

And Wisconsin could have gotten the punt and run it back, punt return tds happen alot more frequently than hail mary's plus he was on the road, so go for the win with the timeout, he just should have taught his guys to bat the ball down on hail marys.

He did almost the exact same thing in '08 at MSU, setting up the MSU kicker for the winning FG by calling a timeout near the end of the game.
