Notre Dame , here. First Irish night game in 21 years. Place will be amped and Irish fresh off bye. Trojan D below past levels and public fooled by watching USC/CAL game on primetime, thinking Trojan D hasn't lost a step. Throw out last week and Trojan D giving up a woeful 42 ppg last two. In the same time span, Irish O 1,111 yards of output. USC top RB Tyler? Kiffin is a tool. He'll be staring at his play sheet all game, but Irish had two weeks to prep. USC has Stanford on deck. Notre Dame is good. They have good skill players on O and the lines are pretty good. USC has a legit QB and Wr and some good football players. USC isn't as good on the lines as they have been in the past outside of a legit OT. Thing is if USC wins this game is it really a upset? I mean Notre Dame is a good football team but so is USC.
USC is missing the starting TB which could be a huge loss. Notre Dames running back is actually from Southern California and is a pretty legit back himself so ND may have the advantage there. USC also is fast at the skill positions and can strike quick as can ND.
I see this game going down to the wire and like the points for SC. I would not be surprised if SC wins outright in a close football game. SC needs to create turnovers and they can take it or keep it close. The only way ND wins going away is if they are truly a better football team in the trenches and manhandle SC (which I don't see going down). The other match up will be Wood (ND) vs Woods (USC).Comment
