Ark -3 is the play!!!! John Ryan i think gets paid by the books to set traps on people that bets on his picks and he makes them sound so convincing and logical. His sims are garbage nvr seen him get anythung in college or nfl (only the cincinatti game this week he got right)... hes been garbage with over and under too lol... I;ve been playing everything opposite of what he has said i can prove if needed. JR is definitely trapping people that read his garbage and his own sims that he makes up. Can someone name me a one week that he has actaully made a profitable/winning week? If u use logic, numbers and stats are really putting these 2 teams at almost equal with ARK edging slightly better stats in both ends. So my take it comes down to 3 other really big factors. 1) Home team advantage 2) National broadcast 3) Ark is gaining momentum and has been on a role (5-1 ATS) and i feel this is a big revenge from last year and ARK will be more motivated to beat FIU in front of their fans. All side leads to even match, but the X factor is definitely much greater and leaning towards ARK -3Comment -
I think it has to do with the fact that they are smaller conferences and bettors from the bigger conferences do not hear to much about them so they just don't know have enough information to make a play on it.
If you get to watch many of the games in these conferences than you have a good edge and should take advantage of it.Comment -

going with arkansas, probably Straight Up. I'm going with these handicaps/variables: Coming off 2 game road trip, and now at home. Haven't allowed a 100yd rusher. their two losses, Illinois and V Tech. Probably stay away from thurs/fri games.Comment -

Before looking at this the only thoughts I have are “Isn’t Ark State usually a team that keeps it close”
FIU (27.8 / 21.2) 4-2 SU, 3-2 ATS, 3-3 O/U
Ark State (28.7 / 21.2) 4-2 SU, 5-1 ATS, 1-5 O/U
Looking at these numbers the teams are mirror images.
Both put up similar offensive and defensive numbers wow this game appears even. Let me look at the strength of schedule. No doubt Ark has lost to the better teams, VaTech and Illinois, but they have no notable wins on their schedule. FIU has been beaten by LA Lafayette and Duke 2 games they were favored in, but has beaten UCF and Louisville (2 wins I consider legit for this caliber of team), but in their most recent outing they only beat Akron by 10 (as a 17pt favorite) I’m just not sure. They haven’t covered their last 3 spreads losing 2 of 3 straight up and being favored in each. Let me keep looking.
They’ve split every game they have played since 92 with the most recent being a 31-24 FIU victory last year @ home (ARKST won the year before 27-10 at home)…. Hmmm well Arkansas State’s 5-1 record against the spread, coupled with any of these stats (Over the last 3 seasons FIU is 1-5 when playing a team with a winning record, 2-9 ATS in October games, and 2-11 ATS since 92’ when coming off a bye week) has me leaning towards ArkSt.-3 (2 stars). Don’t see a great play on the under but with 5 of 6 games going under for state as well as the last 2 in the series, I would lean that way before the over anyways hope this helped.

Looking at stats only this game looks like a coin toss. I decided on the dog only because they don't turn the ball over. I think if my stats are correct they have only two TO total. Opposing qb has tossed 7 ints so far.Comment -

Hey all new to the Forum but would like to put my 2cents in.... Ark st is lead by the arm of QB Ryan Aplin as offense averages 303.5 YPG through the air 15th best among FBS teams. FIU secondary is ranks 87th among FBS teams with an average of 245.3 YPG allowed through the air. So we can say Ark st will be able to move the ball. Defensively the Red Wolves have held opponents to an impressive 21.2 PPG (32nd in the nation) and 344.8 YPG (36th in the nation) on the year, that with 2 tough road games against V-tech and Illinois. PLUS IT PRIMETIME, a small program at home with a PRIMETIME GAME equals MONSTER EDGE in my book! TAKING ARK ST -3, (plus the site a check out for picks has them BIG lol
