LSU...why not???

I'm having a REALLY difficult time with this LSU line. It looks to me like the West Virginia line from a few weeks ago that was way, way off. LSU defense vs. a freshmen QB starting his first game seems like an absolute no brainer. Anyone care to tell me why I'm wrong and why I shouldn't put 5 dimes on the half AND the game?

Any team can beat any team on any given day....but conventional wisdom and some low level handicapping will tell you that they play is LSU -13.....there would be lots more to consider if the line were 14 or 14.5 but it's not.

LSU's offense is too conservative and Florida's defense is too good to allow a pure blowout I think

Les Miles is like 1-12 ATS as a DD fav in SEC games since he has been at LSU.

Doesn't mean they won't cover today. Its just a stat to keep in mind.

I don't like LSU -14... Florida still has a decent defense and LSUs offense hasn't exactly been lighting the world on fire. No doubt LSU wins but it will be by 10-14

weiss will have a plan to get the ball into demps and rainey's hands quickly. lsu has a great defense, but nobody in the country can keep up with those two backs. should be interesting to see that. florida will hold lsu in check somewhat on defense. lsu no big plays on defense/turnovers or special teams they will not cover here. no play for me.

Hearing rumors this morning that Jeff Driskel may not be able to play due to an ankle injury (apparently he didn't practice all week). That would leave the Gators VERY thin at QB.

Demps and rainey are fine when the gators can throw

But they can not pound the ball.

Brissett starting means turnovers, low 3rd down conversions,etc

Gator defense is Ok but still too young, too many penalties.

Lsu should cover no problem.
