Plus the fact that his track record says he does get good info. Who else on these forums took the live bet with Tampa when they were down 0-5? Try no one. I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt. So far, he's been kind enough to reply to those who posed him questions. Let's give the guy a chance.

Live betting one game and getting lucky to win doesn't really prove a whole lot to me.

If the Tampa/Yankees game was really fixed, do you guys honestly think New York would have gotten up 7-0 and had that big of a lead in the 8th? That's risky as hell if you're fixing a game. In other words, it wasn't fixed, New York had nothing to play for and pulled most of their starters. That played a huge part.

Also, Tampa was down to their last out in the 9th before hitting a HR to tie the game. If it was really fixed, it would have never gotten down to this. Use some common sense. Do you think a player hitting under .200 can just easily walk up to the plate and hit a HR with two outs to tie the game in the bottom of the 9th????? Give me a break.

If anyone really had inside information, why in the **** would they be coming here to try and get attention?

Congrats on the win but don't act like you have inside information. Fixed games don't rely on a sub .200 hitter hitting a two out bomb in the bottom of the 9th inning just to tie the game. It was pure luck he hit a home run there. If the game was really fixed, Tampa would have never needed a miracle home run with two outs.

Most point shaving don't happen like we imagine. Public thinks the Mafia's and mobs bribe the players...that is a rare event, often those are the ones that get caught because of the unusually heaving betting volume on that side.

Most common ones are just done by players. Remember that most of these players won't make it to college and they go back to the hood once the college career is done. Shavings happens for players personal gain....he can have group of friends and family members betting few $500 to $5000 for him. Yes, amounts that low amount.

And often, they are not really throwing the game away, just letting the other team to cover the spread.

Rays had nice comeback, but it was bottom of the 9th two outs down 1 with 2 strikes on Dan Johnson... Thats right 1 strike away from losing, then he hooks a ball down the line that hits the foul poll... LUCKY LUCKY LUCKY!!!! I had the Rays, and I was lucky, it wasn't fixed... Maybe it could be called fate, but not a fix... If you believe it was a fix it was the worst fix in the history of sports, because it relied on a guy that will never hit more then 20hr in a season, hitting one in a two strike count... Don't be an idiot. LIke i said in that baseball thread, baseball games are fixed with relievers. Yankees wanted to throw the game away. Even with Yankees up 7-0 i told you guys to watch the last few innings closely but I guess you didn't. All the batters played like a normal game to get hits. Its just the relieve pitchers. They chose the idiot relievers and the guys who came in the 8th and 9th inning were throwing batting practice pitches.

Another idiot posted how longoria hit the home runs with two outs int he 8th and johnson hit the home run with two outs again in in the 9th. THe thing is that even if the pitchers throw easy batting practice pitches, that doesn't mean the hitter can always get the hit. Thing of home run derby...easiest pitches ever but they don't always connect perfectly. Even though yankees were throwing that game away they could have still won if longoria and johnson also missed all the pitches like jennings and other rays hitters. The fact is that yankees threw the game away.
