Free Money Teaser for This Weekend
this teaser is the equivalent of going to an ATM Machine

    6.5 point teaser

    Baylor - 20 teased down to 13.5
Boise State - 28 Teased down to 21.5

Now Check out these stats. I have looked back all the way to 2002 and Rice, at least in that time period, has never played a ranked team on the road any closer than 17 points (they played OKST to 17 points a couple years ago). In fact, they lost all their matchups to ranked teams by an average of about 30-35 points

Now, Rice played baylor last year @ Rice and lost by 17 points, that's usually good support for a 24-31 point beatdown on the road the next year. They played @baylor about 4 years ago and lost by 25 points. Rice also played @ Texas this year (same caliber team as baylor) and lost by 25

everything here supports about a 24-31 point win for baylor

Now for Boise vs Tulsa. Boise, going back to 2009, has played only 1 game at home against a bad team where they won by less than 30 points. That's 10 games and 9 occurences of complete destruction. Tulsa is a mess of a team right now, their defense is absolutely horrible, their star QB will likely be out in this game and their star receiver is out for sure. The backup QB for Tulsa had awful numbers at home last week against OKST and he faces a much much better defense on the road on the blue turf

Boise is coming out to a home opener and you know they're gonna want to impress the voters and give their fans something to cheer for. I got Boise winning this by at least 30, If chris peterson wants to really run the score, I think Boise could win this by closer to 50

ok u said discuss...so my opinion. the boise play is prolly money. that tulsa backup qb is really fast though and after a week of snaps will be better. what this means for this game is most likely tulsa running a lot of spread read plays and the qb running a lot. nevada killed boise with that last year. like i said though...it is boise at home so it is prolly ok. the baylor play on the other hand i would scratch if i was playing heavy money on it. how often is baylor a 20 point favorite over anyone? also...this qb gets hurt every dam year it seems after starting out awesome. what if he goes down first quarter? i also think a lot of the past stats on rice are skewed. they didn't start getting better until a couple of years ago...they are not that awful really. not saying u r wrong or won't win...i just wouldn't call any teaser with baylor in it a trip to the atm...lol. gl man.

1)Rice lost by 17 at home last year to baylor, you really think they have any chance to perform better than that on the road against a red hot QB and a very good offensive squad?? We're still talking about the same squad that lost 3 of their 5 road games last year by 20+ points (and those were against terrible teams for the most part)

2)Tulsa's backup QB had a 76 passer rating against OKST. With all due respect, Boise's defense is a lot better than OKST defense and playing on the road in that blue turf is much more intimidating than playing at home. Tulsa's defense is just a complete abomination right now. Boise might be able to reach 35-40 points in the first half in this one as it's gonna be like knife thru butter

and the thing here is that Boise needs to win every game by 35-40+ points to impress voters, so they're not gonna call off the dogs until very very late in the game. If they're up 31-6 or whatever OKST was up against Tulsa, they're gonna try to win by 50 points

like i said...prolly right on boise. do think the tulsa d is not so bad as u think though. i also think that qb will be better with a week of snaps. dude was backing up one of the best qbs in tu history and was in no way expecting to play...lol. also don't think u can take anything too relevant from a game that started at midnight. several of the players from both sides were walking around in street clothes like 30 minutes be4 kickoff...and blackmon was up in the stands...lol. it was a really strange night and i am not even sure how i would have responded as a player. i wont waste any more time digging up tulsa d stats...it is boise at home and 21 is most likely ok.

now baylor though is something different. i hate to say it man but they are losers. i remember when ostate was getting better. they would look great one game but then lose to someone terrible or almost lose the next week. takes a while to learn how to win...and u just never know what u will get with baylor. i also saw where someone posted in another thread of yours that baylor has no d...very true. honestly though man...u r prolly right on both games. i just wouldn't put a lot on baylor is all. but just to answer the question u asked...i don't expect it or care, but it wouldn't shock me to see this game go down to the wire and baylor maybe lose. prolly not...but u never know.

baylor sucked in 2007 and still beat rice by 25 points!!!

Im with Brahma on Baylor. They are the real deal this year. Rice has no chance of even keeping this one close. You can play the "what if" game all you want in regards to IF someone gets hurt but you cant bet that way. #17 Baylor will cover here (especially with a 6.5 tease and only needing to win by 14)

These type of teasers make no sense from a motivational standpoint. Teasing teams down to -1 is smart and teasing short road nfl dogs up to +8 or +9 or even +10 is alright
