Odds are fairly good Iowa covers, but like I've said in other threads, this instate game is a tough one to cap. When Iowa is good, State beats them. When Iowa is average, State loses by 27.

Iowa plays up or down to their opponents skill level, they let people hang around and even when they are a top 15 team they never score a lot of points. They don't have a great defense this year, which is usually their bread and butter and their QB is unproven.

This is exactly why if someone forced me to bet this game I'd take Iowa St. haha, because it seems like such an easy cover for Iowa. But I would never bet it unless someone forced me to, since it's burned me so much in the past
