Yikes, while I cannot argue with the talent Boise St has, every year they continue to start off with some tough ass high pressure games and one of these years they are bound to not win one. Week 1 is always the toughest in regards to CFB because so many people go off of last years results (rightfully so), but a marque matchup in week 1 usually means sharp line.

Gun to my head... I kinda like Army on Saturday at +10. Northern Ill has a new coach (granted he has been around the system for a while) but Army likes to run a slow running game and drain clock... I wish the spread would get closer to 13 again but not likely. Army treated me well last season and I think they can keep this close.

Apart from Saturday matchups.. I really like TCU.

OU may cover... but to say that they will keep Tulsa under 10pts? They had one of the most prolific offenses last year and have been in the top 20 in the country over the past few years.

I would not rely on even a top ranked D to keep Tulsa under 10... now Tulsa stopping OU on the other hand with one of the worst D's in the country.. I can't argue with.

In state Rivalry, week 1 game, Tulsa having the ability to fling it wildly... who knows what could happen. The only outcome that is almost guaranteed is OU winning outright.

It's Jeffrey not Jeffreys. I would be careful here. Spurrier is known to let up in the 2nd half when he has a lead and I think he will be anxious to get some young players in early. The line seems pretty right.
