You have to go to the golden Nugget in Vegas to wager on these lines. I did not wager on USC, one way or the other. Some of my friends did. They faded USC -8 against Utah, took USC +3 at Arizona State, and took USC -6.5 against UCLA. What we did do was to load up on Boise State, when the line dropped all the way to 1.5 against Georgia. We expect that line to end up aroound 3 to 3.5, and think that this may be a good middle possibility.

Depends on where you look. I've also seen UF and UGA as the favorite to win the east. UGA has the schedule, UF's schedule is ridiculous. South Carolina is well, South Carolina. I think the winner of UGA/SC comes away with the east. UF's SEC schedule is just too brutal.

Is Missouri as good as USC? Both teams are +3 on the road at ASU.

--- Take Florida St.. Big time revenge spot for FSU. They had no chance last year, with new coaches @ all major positions. Most importantly FSU's defense was just learning their new zone defense, after 25 years of man to man principles.

More importantly, Oklahoma loses on the road. That is just what they do. The QB will throw INT, and Bob Stoops will be out-coached. Oklahoma @ home is a whole different animal, but on the road they are beatable.

--- Florida has talent. Not as much as Alabama, but not far away. Florida has assembled a roster of coaches that can rival any program in the country. Expected all of the talent, in Gainseville, to be exploited to its fullest. Revenge spot also. Then Florida is a home Dog. GTFO

---- Too many points period.

FWIW, my favorite line up there is FSU -7 at Clemson. Just don't see what the Tigers have this year.

Clemson is loaded, like always. Their problem is they have never had an elite coach to go with the talent. The clown they have as coach now, is God's gift to recruiting. He was promoted from within, after winning the award for recruiter of the year about three years ago.

I do not like Clemson at all this season. Their H.C. is very questionable. They will be depending on a new QB. They lose 5 starters on defense, all key players. They get Florida State at home the week after the Auburn game, then a game at Va. Tech after that. While Auburn loses a ton of talent, I would not count them out against Clemson. You have a battle of teams that will finish 4th or 5th in their respective Divisions. I would not touch this game.

I also would not take West Virginia over LSU. West Virginia returns only 4 starrters on defense. Remember, we are talking about a Big East team here. If LSU loses to this group, they will be laughed out of the SEC.

I already took Florida State +3.5, hoping to get a middle there, but satisfied that I got over 3 points. OU is not the best road team around.

San Diego State loses 6 starters om defense, and goes up against their old head coach, who walks into a "win or else" situation at Michigan. Again, another game that I would not touch. Check the total on this game when it comes out.

Florida had better be 4-0 going into the Alabama game, or their season is lost. They have talent, but no experience and a new coaching staff. They simply play Alabama too early in the season to be much of a threat here. Now if you want a great game to fade Florida, fade them against Kentucky, the week before the Alabama game. Florida's first away game sandwiched in between home games against Tennessee and Alabama.

They have the talent, they have a brutal schedule, we just don't know what we'll get from them. I think there is a lot of value here though. They'll have their ups and down and this could very well be an up. It's lines like this that make me want to fly out to Vegas so I can go to the Golden Nugget.

Just curious....why are you so down on SC? They return almost everyone (everyone important) and this seems to be "the year" for them

They will have the monster freshman DE Jadaveon Clowney to go with an already great pass rush on D....Talent and experience all over the defense

Arguably the best WR and RB in the country (If not,top 2-3 at each position)

They have been pretty inconsistent lately, but on paper, they are arguably a top 2-3 SEC team going into this season,with a darkhorse shot at the National Championship (Will be a top 10 team going into the year)

They absolutely thrashed Alabama, Tennessee, Clemson, and Florida last season....beat Georgia pretty easily, and played toe to toe with Auburn at Auburn.

There's a reason why South Carolina is double digit favorites against Tennessee and Clemson, favored @ Georgia for the first time in forever, favored by 6 against Florida, etc

There's a reason why Marcus Lattimore is only +500 to win the Heisman (which always goes to a top team)

Big games they had: Beat Georgia 17-6, Beat Alabama 35-21, Crushed Florida, Crushed Clemson, Were beating Auburn all game until they imploded in the 4th quarter and Cam Newton took over
