Thursday Night CFB - Memphis vs. Houston

Houston got destroyed by a very mediocre/low tier Tulsa team last week. They also barely beat Temple a few games back, saved only by their defense who got 3 interceptions that game.

Memphis has beaten two ranked teams this year (Navy and UCLA). I agree that UCLA's season has really gone down the shitter this year, but they also own one of the best comebacks in NCAA history (this year vs. Texas A&M). Navy has been turning heads in recent years. Memphis got stomped by a very good looking UCF team a few weeks ago, but other than that, they've been playing solid. UCF looks to be the powerhouse team outside of the Big 5 Conf teams.

I'd really like someone to convince me why Memphis won't steamroll Houston this Thursday. Any and all opinions are appreciated.

    Memphis +3

I agree. Houston is -3 because they are the home team and this is a crappy conference. Also, with a Solid Thursday Nite NFL game (k.c. at Oakland) and a possible Game 5 between the Cubs and the Dodgers on T.V, no one really gives a caca about this game. Memphis seems to be the play.

    My take on Houston,
    1) Houston has a better defense
    2) Houston at home
    3) Houstons QB kyle allen is healthy and can be an option to be put in.
    4) Memphis allows too many points
    5) Memphis played mostly home games and have loss on the road against a decent defense like UCF.
    6) dont let the tulsa game fool you, remember Syracuse against Clemson?
    Anything can happen at home.

Just my two cents.. Houston -2.5 for me..
