Week 2 plays

A miserable, and i mean miserable first week. I went 2-5 in posted plays but made two horrible plays on Monday with SMU and FSU. I'll go ahead and say i am 2-7. Both Illinois schools failed to cover by a combined 2.5 points...that's what type of week it was last week.

This week, a big card. I have a better feeling this week about the games. I'll post them and if anyone wants to discuss them just let me know. All plays are 1 unit unless otherwise noted.

I hope so Ebone. The logic here is more a fade on Clemson who i believe will have a hard time getting up for this UL-Monroe team. They have a short week while UL-Monroe has had an extended week of 10 days now. Not to mention, UL-Monroe has the offensive weapons to put up points on the board. I figure if they put up a few TDs on the board they can cover this big number. Not to mention, to me, Clemson does not have the offensive firepower even with 2 starting RBs to blow anyone out just b/c their QB play is weak right now.

This game reminds me a lot of the AF/Tenn game last year where Air Force was +21 and I did not pull the trigger and they lost by 1 pt. Last year Tenn had an emotional week 1 win against a highly rated Cal team and everyone was going crazy etc... Similar here where Clemson had a very emotional week 1 win against a conference foe and what not. Classic letdown spot in my opinion and I'll play that angle this week not b/c ULM is more talented but just b/c I see Clemson very flat this week.

Thanks. I like both of them a lot. The modern day sharp is not afraid to lay the points. I think this is a great rebound spot for UVA and I think UCLA is just too talented for this BYU team.

Thanks BBD. I think UT comes very fired up in this game and rolls past TCU. To me, UT was deliberately conservative just so they did not show TCU anything.

I think it is worth noting that Baylor outgained TCU offensively in the 1H last week. That to me spells major trouble.

watching the tape from the TCU game last week, I was very impressed with their D, but very unimpressed with their offense...also important to note that their best offensive player, RB Brown, is questionable for this one...
