On 3rd down he should have called a timeout! All this boils down to not calling a timeout with 27 seconds left, instead he calls it at 9 seconds!

Also the offensive coordinator needs to be fired. We were in field goal position and he decides to throw the ball like we're not in field goal position 3 times!! Maybe we need a new coaching staff. That was ignorant!

I have wanted Miles gone since blowing a 21 point lead at home vs Tennessee in 2006. I think all they work on in practice is onside kicks and fakes.

I make "safe plays", bailouts in essence, 2 games (at most) ATS + a few MLs....

all I need to close out is Stanford ML and Tennessee ML. Statistical probability of us "surviving" the Ole Miss game? Probably under 12%.

I forget who it was against but with 1 second left and on about the opponents 30 yard line, only needing a FG to win, he opted to throw the ball and luckily for LSU the ball was caught and they won. i think that was the auburn game or the week before against miss st or something that it was a game LSU shouldnt have been that close in because i had LSU as was like WTF.

Miles had plenty of time to get the FG team on. He had the benefit of the clock not starting until the chains were set. If a bunch of old men can hustle down there an set the chains, why can't a bunch of football players who are allegedly in top physical condition do the same thing?

Now if you want to buy that argument, you call a play at the line and run it. That dance at the end of the game was a perfect example of a team not properly prepared for that possibility. That was the worst use of the clock that i have seen in years, and that includes all the bonehead moves by a lot of coaches, like Shannon at Miami.
