    Ralph's Leans
Had my first losing weekend in a several weeks. Lost 16 units, could have been way worse seeing as how I lost all my big plays, But I rallied 20 units at the end of the night thanks to oregon and bama. Won 13 units on ECU last night so everythings ok.

    YTD: 82-56 +119.8 units

Maryland -17.....who is FSU to give anyone this many points, especially with ponder out.

NC State +20.....Virginia Tech is hit or miss and after romping Maryland I see them coming out a little flat this game. Russel Wilson is a completely capable of keeping this game close.

TCU -30.....This spread is high, but BYU went into Wyoming and shut them out 52-0 2 weeks ago. I dont see Wyoming being able to score on TCU. TCU will try and run the score up.

Kansas +26.5.....This texas team hasnt impressed my once this year. I love betting against the undefeated teams. Texas will win for sure, but as lee corso would say it will be closer than the experts think.

LSU +3.....Im not sold on LSU AT ALL, only way this can be played is if Jefferson plays. If Lee plays its a no bet. The under in this game should be looked at as well. After torching TN's D I see LSU being all over Dexter McCluster.

      Ralph...came across this on espn.

BATON ROUGE, La. -- LSU coach Les Miles says Jordan Jefferson is expected to practice all week and the Tigers are hopeful the quarterback will be able to play at Mississippi after missing the last game with a sprained right ankle.

nice, I probably still wont play them. although ZBOIZ sucks so bad at betting his team that if he thinks ole miss is the play I might have to play LSU.

Nc State and Kansas are my two favorite dogs.

I definitely like Kansas in the first half, Texas seems to always get off to a slow start. I just worry about them layin it on in the second half.

I like the TCU lean as well. 30 points is quite a few points to lay, although I dont see a way TCU doesnt win by 40+. If BYU can shut em out 52-0, I don't see how TCU struggles.

          Good luck

Agree with Kansas and NC State. LSU looked good, but I'll have to examine it a bit more. If Lee plays I won't be on the Tigers side.

Ya Lee is a total joke, i find it hard believe there isnt someone better for the job they could have backed jefferson up with.

I think NC State is becoming my favorite play. I like kansas but man their defense is so bad.

It is very dangerous to play on losing teams this late in the season. Maryland is 1-3 ATS in their last 4 games, and 0-5 S/U. They have absolutley nothing to play for. They can not become bowl eligable. Florida State needs this win to become bowl eligable. They are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 meeting against Maryland at home. They managed to ring up 41 points against Wake last week. Maryland is a poor play here.

In North Carolina State, you have what probably is the worst defense in the ACC. This team has surrendered 30 points or more in each of their last 7 games. They are also in a bad spot, being 2-5 ATS at Va Tech and 1-6 ATS after the Coemson game. Va. Tech is looking for a New Years Day bowl game (Gator). They will try to win as impressively as possible.

Kansas has quit on Mangino. This team has lost 5 straight. They have failed to cover in their last 7 games. Their defensive woes are well known, but their offense has gone to sleep as well. While Texas need do nothing more than to win out to get to the BCS Championship game, there is no reason why to take Kansas here.

The problem with LSU is that we may not know until the start of the game who will play QB for them. You may get a dose of both Lee and Jefferson. Both of these teams have been up and down this year. Tough game with a possible Cotton Bowl bid on the line.

Pass on all of these games.

Jefferson will play Saturday unless he gets injured in practice. He's good to go, don't let Miles blow smoke up your ass he's real good at it. Jefferson will play.

Also Lee is a bust! He was the best QB coming out of Texas in his recruiting class but the kid is a total bust. I want to say he was a 4 star, maybe a 5! But yea he's a BIG TIME bust !

It sounds as if LSU really blew it on Lee. Neither QB is really that good. It is a question of the lesser of two evils. LSU is going to lose a lot of good players after this year. It is too bad that their offense could not do anything. The schedule does ot get any easier for them next year as well, going to Atlanta to open the season against North Carolina, instead of going to Washington. I've always had a great time when visiting Louisiana. Too bad their team was not as competitive as I thought they would be at the beginning of the year.

actually LSU is really young. They will be fine. They are losing Scott and Lefell but those 2 can be replaced just like Joseph Addai, Dwayne Bowe, Jacob Hester, and many more. They have serious depth so thats not the issue. We are just young at key positions,. But Jefferson will get better as his career goes along. He is very young in a defensive conference. What people fail to realize is that the SEC is a junior and senior qb conference because you have to develop the skills of reading defenses.

Well LSU should have a good shot next year in what will be a closer SEC, but weaker at the top. Alabama loses 5 out of their front 7 on defense, plus two starters out of the defensive backfield. They also go to Arkansas, Tennessee, and LSU next year, while playing Penn State and Florida at home. Mississipi was a very over-rated team this year, and probably will not be a threat next year. Florida loses Tebow, and gets both LSU (at home) and Alabama (away) on the schedule. The rest of the SEC should improve, but no teams stands out.

yea LSU should be the favorite to win it all next year, and the SEC.

LSU is still trying to recover from the bcs title year when they lost damn near everybody. also they lost perriloux to stupid reason so this program been doing some rebuilding but next year is very promising!

also we have west virginia and north carolina next year.

We play north carolina in the georgia dome for the 1st game of the year in the chick filet kickoff classic

A percentage of a bettors bankroll (different for everyone).. The more confident the bet, the more units he'll play.

                                    Typically: 1 unit = 1% of a bankroll
