Hey Pags im with you and totally agree with Oregon explanation. Curious to see how you feel about Minn -6.5. I know they ended the season horribly but Syracuse cant even fill a whole roster. Not to mention Paulus hasnt played football in 4 years and he will be starting quarterback. Your opinion is very appreciated. Also what about San Jose +34? USC is my team and i would like to think i know them pretty good. With Barkley starting and RoJo being out I think they will control the game on the ground and slow the game down. In all the scrimmages he has struggled against the 1st team defense. I feel the win but not by 34. thanks for any input

Any thoughts on my rebuilding Boilers? I'll be taking them under at least for week 1 and then we'll see from there. All the talent & experience (what is there anyway) is on the defensive side of the ball. I think the D will hold it's own while the new look 'O sputters most of the year.

I am a Purdue fan too...the lack of returning starters at the skill positions really hurts this team. I had Toledo picked early on but the number has moved too much for me. I'll sit back and hope for the best. Corners are decent (for the Big 10) and D line play should be solid. Wide receiver is a total question mark and not completely sold on the QB situation either...I don't wanna hijack Pags' thread so I'll let him take care of it from here...

Read your Oregon right up. Dez Bryant injury killed Ok St. gameplan, emotions, etc. in the Holiday bowl. State was looking like the better team that night, by a lot, before he was hurt

glad to hear that you agree with my analysis of the Oregon game...with the Minnesota game, I'm not interested in laying close to a TD on the road with a Tim Brewster coached team...as far as SJSU goes, I think they may have some success for three quarters defensively, but I'm not sure how they are going to score. If Pete Carroll has a chance to cover that one late he will definitely try to do so...

good to see you ol' pal...hmmm, as far as Purdue goes, they may have to go backwards before they can go forwards...I think Danny Hope will do a good job there but he hasn't had a lot of experience being a head guy, especially in a BCS conference...long term he may be the right guy but with out Siller and Taylor being a second team RB it seems to me that the program will go through growing pains this year...

I think somewhere in the thread he said to he would take Oregon at 4 but not any less. Most places have it at 3.5 now, but half a point is cheap insurance.

geez pags your killing me yet again this year. I like LSU definatly looks solid, VA tech im a little worried since their running back is out. ND looks ok, but im completely missing the SD play and the La tech play, they dont make much sense in my mind but GL to you i guess im jumping the gun since you havent posted your write up. look forward to reading it

Why would his play change sides completely? Also, pags isn't telling you what you should or should not do. He is telling you what HE is playing. That's all. What you choose to do with your money is your decision.

But, being the gentleman he is, he'll likely reply to your post anyways. And for the record, he won't say to bet Boise -3.
