IF BYU runs the table against their out of conference schedule they should play for the NC. The Mountain West is about as good as the Big 10 and better than the Big East...if any of those teams in those two conferences ran the table, they'd get consideration.

The key here is money management ... better luck next week Pags buddy! I was just as surprised watching most of these games as probably everyone else. The ND pick was nice. The ND and MI game next week should prove a good one.

It's was a tough week for me, still have one 2 unit play tonight but thus far 3-5 is not so good. Luckily I kept my wagers low like you so it doesn't hurt so bad. Always feels better when you win though...I bet the books made a killing this weekend. We'll give 'em some payback next week Pags.

Same thing that happened last year... pags started off something like 14-14 through the first few weeks, and then went on a tear.

week 1 and some are blasting Pags...to them I say...please don't forget to post your plays here so we can view, pick our options after capping, and then we'll see the results at the end. I for one do not post, job takes up a lot of time. But...I depend on some in these forums to help make a final decision, and there is a TON of very good info here. Post your plays dude, and we shall see!! I know who my money will be on, if I were a wagering man...LOL!

Whats with all the drama??? its the first week ffs, i tailed all Pags plays and am down just over 1 unit (because of the juice), if you followed his money management advice you would be down a maximum of 1 unit, 1 bloody unit and there is all this whingeing and crying over it. Pags doesn't need to post his plays here nor do his write ups either but he does for the benefit of everyone and if you choose to follow him then thats your own responsibility.

if we all based gambling on 1 week we would all be losers,one week don't make it or break it,its a long season and we all learn from week to week,PAGS is a really good capper,and good cappers know one week is nothing in the long run.i know long enough that pags is and will be on top of his game in no time,might be today,or next week but he will be there

Everyone needs to relize whenever a sucessfull poster like pags has a slightly off week it will bring out the illiterate. Thats just the way it goes. Thats on every forum. Dont respond the the un educated comments by others. This is pags thread for his plays not for arguments with people that post dumb comments

Exactly on units early. I lost this weekend, but I'm not hurt. Hell, the avg cover by 35 lined games was by 13.2 and only 9 were by less than a TD. Lines off? Hell yes, but this was incredulous. As lines get sharper, so do the cappers such as pags. Believe me on this...until November...you better have made your money by then.

Those of you who were around last year may recall that Pags didn't have a great opening week last year. But his strength is in his meticulous analyization of games as the season wears on. Therefore he gets stronger as year goes on. That was eveident last year, and I have no reason not to expect similar results this year. I am very confident in saying that if you stick with Pags all year, you WILL make money!!!

week 1 and week 2 is where we gauge teams..its hard for systems to get going based on last years numbers...now we saw what teams can do..its game on now...money management is a key and pags states it in his earlier treads...pags is a great capper and he'll bounce back..anyways its only the 1st week...

I thought pags picks were solid and I appreciated his analysis.

Week 1 is a really tough week. He will bounce back....

I never bet week 1 because there are too many unknowns. I will probably sit it out until at least week 3.

Its not a 2 week season the season keeps going so even if you lose one week it doesnt matter because you have alot of weeks to make it back.......your not going to be positive units every single week you cant expect that

Actually he was 3-5, sorry if you didn't get the same number as other people on a game and came out 2-6 but his picks were 3-5, and like pags said, tread lightly the first few weeks, need to get the feel for teams still

Some people make it seem like they are doing him a favor by tailing him. If you don't want to tail him then just stop. Pick your own plays or find someone else to tail. I don't think he or anyone else would really care.

im sure he'll miss you if you stop following him...no ones forcing you to follow his plays and a few weeks dont matter in the end as long as he's up. you must be new to gambling if you think people dont have bad weeks...
