Week 2 Possible Away Favorite ML Plays
A tough week to choose from because there are not many games that will fall into this catagory.

Should we pick on poor Florida International again? They lost to Indiana at home last week. (My play). This week they host another Big 10 team, Maryland. FIU is 1-9 ATS at home off a S/U non-conference loss. Maryland started out with a rout against Howard (who ever they are) but is 0-5 ATS after scoring 35 points. They are around -380.

We also have Louisville (-600) at Syracuse. Now Louisville still has a dream about winning the ACC, but they are in the perfect look ahead situation with Florida State on deck. They are 12-2 ATS away vs teams with a .666> record. Syracuse just wants to win 6 or more games to become bowl eligible. They are also 1-10 at home as weekday dogs.

You also have Cincinnati at Purdue, at a cheap price of -250. The problem there is that Cincinnati hosts Houston 5 days later. Again, a major look ahead situation.

I will probably pass on the North Carolina teams who are favored. New Mexico may be worth a look at N.M. State, but I would not give more than -400. It is a bit high now. Then there is Boston College at UMass, but anyone give -800 or so with a team that managed only 14 points against GA. Tech's defense?

Sometimes the best wager is no wager at all, and this may be one of those weeks.

Memento, the reason why I do not do a 12 team parlay is because the chances of losing the parlay are much greater than simply taking the one game gift wager.

One other thought. How much money did you guys win last season? If you are honest (and I commend the few in here who are), the answer will be none 90% of the time. I posted every game last season and won every game. NONE of you can say that, yet all of you can do that, if you have enough guts to make the wagers.
All that talk and now your scared to wager???

Bad week for moneyline players. A good call to take the week off. I don't even like any home ML plays.

I'm actually a Hawkeye fan, and I would never bet the Hawkeyes with this steep of a ML against Iowa State. Florida possibly -- but do you really want to make a play on a -800 and you have a team that has no offense? I don't really know a whole lot about Duke and WF game tbh. Just my 2 cents on those games. And it's only Monday so things could definitely change

Florida is like 24-0 against ky straight up last 20+ years.....if iowa loses at home, I would be shocked. Duke line dropping fast, opened at 7...down to 5...not sure what is up. Need to look into that....cutcliffe cant lose at home to wf can he?

Iowa is 0-2 S/U in their last two at home against Iowa State. It is much worse ATS, where they are 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games at home against Iowa State. The line in Vegas is Iowa -15 to 16. Iowa is also 1-5 ATS in their second of back to back home games of late. They are also 0-5 ATS as favorites of 8 or more against a team under .500 with revenge. Meanwhile, Iowa State is 7-1 ATS as a non-con dog of 3 or more. The ML wager may scare some off, but getting 15-16 points has to be tempting.

But talking ml, iowa st is 2-17 su as a dog and 1-10 su in road games past three years while iowa is 18-3 as favorite and 12-3 at home. Cant lose 3 in a row at home to rival can they?
