I see that Army started as a 15.5 point favorite on the road against Buffalo (now down to 14)..... I'm really scratching my head on this one. I think Army has a good chance to win, but covering 2 TD's? It seems I'm disagreeing with not only the line but also the various power rankings out there.

Army will be a play for me AGAIN. Why not? They're 2-0 for me the last 2 weeks.

But specifically.....Buffalo is ranked 83rd in rush defense, and they played Albany and Nevada.

Buffalo is allowing 4.97 yards per carry, and who is coming to town? The #1 rushing offense in the country.

Army is averaging more than 5 ypc, 367 ypg.

I think Army will win this by 21+.

It seems as if the only person pleased with this is the Freshman QB Darnold, who got the job. This has to be an indictment on Helton. Switching QB's after just 3 games? They have won by 2 points and lost by 1 and 3 points. The UCLA game really concerned me. UCLA does not have that good of a defense. BYU should have won that game, but did not. Texas A&M -6. Arkansas is a team that gives good teams fits. They just pound away at you. A&M is the big question mark in the SEC. Are they that good, or are teams like auburn that bad? Hard to tell, especially this season. If the line stays at -6, this is a simple play for me....PASS.

Army was up 20-6 in the 4th quarter, had the ball on Buffalo's 38 yard-line and ended up losing the cover, and the game.

Loved Brian Kelly's decision to fire Van Gorder, and watched his press'r today. Said his defense was playing overplayed---Van Gorder insisting on a short rotation, and that is going to change. Greg Hudson takes over as DC, and I liked Hudson when he was @ ECU, his ECU defense had 29 takeaways in 2009, and he isn't the answer long term, and Kelly talked today about expanding his role with the defense, opening up the roster, and then had a closed door meeting with his players to clear the air.

Notre Dame is going to curb stomp Syracuse.

I am going large with this one---bumping up in class.
