Loaded on offense? They lost Sudfeld. Do you know what the offense did without him last year? See Penn State. The new QB is a JUCO transfer. You say he is decent, what makes you say that?

They also lost on the o line.

They have one 1000 yd back, and the receivers have good numbers (from when sudfeld was playing).

Sorry, I'm assuming he will be decent since he beat out a junior pretty convincingly- but he could be bad, who knows for sure at this point. I just think they should be able to put up points again with Redding, cobbs, jones and Paige. Defense should be bad again. FIU is a total a wildcard team as well.

Not betting the game, just trying to give some insight.

You are focusing on one team. FIU is one of the worst teams in Div 1. Indiana won by 14 last year. Should roll again this year.

Indiana's line will be fine. The QB is a question mark. The RB is a stud! The QB put up good JUCO numbers. Got to agree with you, the defense was horrible. I have my eye on betting against Indiana in other situations. If their defense is the same, they will get rolled up a bunch when they face top level competition. FIU at home helps with this one. They have a good returning group of talent positions. They have no O line! The defense lost everybody other then their talented linebacker. The defense is small up front with no pass rushers to speak of. The line moved for a reason. Not sure about it this one Grease. GL

The Under is the clear loser here. FIU returns 5 starters on defense. Last year's defense was poor, and this year's defense looks worse. For FIU to have a chance, they have to put up points in bunches. Indiana will score at least 35 on that pourous defense and probably 42 or more. Husker36 has it right.

I think 3 of the 5 starters on defense are Tackles, that is one more then they need. They lose both DE. Return some good, some not so good LBers. There are 4 returning Defensive backs. A misleading stat when you consider 2 of the 4 were hurt last season making it look like all of the secondary is returning. They will go with a Safety CB most likely. They lost their DC to Pitt. and picked up the DC from Pitt. I looked at this game because I was going to fade Indiana due to their defense. I can't see how I could take the points. If I had to I would go with the OVER. Both teams defenses are not very good. But,I always say defenses are ahead of offenses early in the season. PASS!!

Though you are correct that this is a fade Indiana play more than anything.

Very tough for Indiana to come early season to a hot muggy Miami....they will wilt in the 2nd half .......I personally would take FIU and sprinkle something on the money-line

This is what I did, just got it too early at +9.

Here is a stat for you, IU has won on the road by more than 10 only 4 times in the Kelly era. (Since 2011, I believe?)

Indiana by 21 with their top WR, top DT, and starting safety suspended for 1 game. Its prob more on FIU then Indiana but the Hoosiers are improved atleast somewhat!
