Took them 2 days ago in a ml parlay three teamer with Stanford and ole miss so I also think without Boykin TCU is mediocre while the pac12 as well as Sec w have been hitting it in bowl wins and in dominating fashion with both hitting .750

last game for oregon QB too and he missed games where the ducks lost so I see him and the whole team coming out swinging. They could be a lot higher if he was healthy all year. They beat Stanford earlier this year

Star wide receiver Josh Doctson was already out for the Alamo Bowl due to injury, and now Boykin will miss the game. The TCU offense has had to operate without Boykin twice this season, against Kansas and Oklahoma.

The Horned Frogs struggled against lowly Kansas after Boykin went down early on, with Bram Kohlhausen stepping in during a 23-17 victory against the Jayhawks, who wound up 0-12. The next week against Oklahoma, Kohlhausen got the start before being replaced by Foster Sawyer, as the two combined to throw for 219 yards, one touchdown and four interceptions.

The two quarterbacks combined for just 18 rushing yards, as the quarterback's run threat was virtually non-existent without Boykin playing. Those two games were the Horned Frogs second and fourth worst offensive performances of the season -- No. 1 being the monsoon game against Baylor, No. 3 the opener at Minnesota.

Without Boykin, TCU averaged only 26 points per game compared to 44.8 with him. The success of the Horned Frogs against Oklahoma despite being without Boykin could give TCU a bit of confidence, but with a defense that surrendered 27.8 points per game against FBS opponents this season it could be a tough task to keep up with the high powered Ducks offense.
