Putting the gambling aspect aside, I honestly can't recall a bowl season ever being more devoid of entertainment value than this one. Blowout City!

I guess there was the Yankee Doodle Dandy Pinstripe Bowl. Duke and Indiana didn't let us down.

Louisville game was wild at the end, they hung on though.

        In short, too many mismatches.

Cant wait for Bama and Clemson. I already teased Bama -1/2 with -1/2 with Ole Miss tonight.

All 4 favorites covered today huh?

Yes, all five favorites actually... and they not only covered, but pretty much went wire to wire in their respective victories.

            Notre Dame won by 16
            Mississippi won by 28
            Stanford won by 29
            Michigan won by 34
            Tennessee won by 39

So our average margin of victory amongst our New Year's Day bowls is 29 points. That's pretty ridiculous.

And the preceding bowls didn't fare much better.

I did think ND would put up more of a fight. Hope some of you guys cleaned up today. I only bet Stanford and Ole Miss. Totally slept on Tennessee, the price of living on the west coast.

I cleaned up last night with my biggest bowl bet on Alabama, but I went on tilt today and gave some of it back, unfortunately. There was this little voice in my head that told me the dogs were due to start barking, and that clearly didn't happen.

Amen. The last 6 games sucked. All of them on paper seemed ok. But wow. Pretty much unwatchable. We switched to American Pickers

Hopefully a couple of the games will be worth watching Saturday. I hope KST and Ark. And Oregon /Tcu will be ok but w/o Boykin. And the way the Big 12 has played both could be blow outs again. Sad

Wonder if someone actually bet a 5 team pleaser would've made fortune but I agree bowls this year after 1st half unwatchable I do think Penn St GA today will be competitive

Blood pressure and heart problems avoided when there`s no sweat. Games are long, and to some here, the ease of the guessing of some of these outways all the entertainment potential. Just win baby

From a betting standpoint it's been good. Been a lot of easy spreads. How the heck Stanford and ole miss were such small favorites yesterday is beyond me. Like free money. But yes, I agree, these games have been horrible. Wrong teams getting matched up. Ohio state should have been playing Stanford and Oregon should have been matched up with ole miss.

I see a lot of crying from a lot of losers in here. You guys are stupid if you really thought that any of the favorites were going to be seriously challenged yesterday. Perhaps pathetic is more like it. Had you guys won money, you would have thought that this was a great bowl season, but since the vast majority of you who actually wager something more than air lost, you think the bowl season is terrible.

You guys should really grow up and stop all of the B.S. you try to spread in here. Eddy, you lost your tail and you know it. You also belong in a psycho ward because you are one dumb fool. The season is over, so go back into your padded room and talk to mommy.

I congratulate NavyBlue, who seems like the only one in here, other than myself, that knows how to wager on College Football. He did quite well yesterday. I strongly suggest that the rest of you losers either quit, or make a small attempt at actually learning something about wagering, other than following and lying about how much you lost.

The point that I don't understand from Penn State backers is "Richt is fired and Georgia doesn't have a coach. Therefore they will shit the bed" WTF? Their coach is at the game and even gave them a pep talk. These guys are playing for their jobs next year. It's a new coach and they want to show him they want to start. It's much different if a coach is fired and they don't have anyone lined up to take over. That's when teams tend to lay down. But when their new coach is there at the game and it's a home crowd, you better believe they're going to gonna play their ass off.

I just woke up, but it looks like Georgia and Penn St. are keeping the theme of lopsided games alive and well.

Scrap the conference tie ins. We need one or two SEC vs Pac 12 games. Send an SEC team to the Rose Bowl when a Big 10 & Pac 12 team makes the playoffs. Imagine an LSU Alabama or Georgia vs Stanford or Ohio State in the Rose Bowl. Hype would be enormous.

This has to be hands down the most unwatchable bowl season ever and it's not even close.

Big trend this bowl season has been the late money sharps are killing it. I've watched the line 15 minutes before kickoff, and whereever it goes, it goes on the winner. Late money on Stanford and Ole Miss last night. Went on Arkansas today. Went on Houston NYE. Went on Michigan yesterday. Went on Tennessee. Went on Oregon today. Was on Wisconsin late the other night. Was on Louisville and Miss. State. An amazing trend.

State. An amazing trend.
interesting, i'll watch that on alabama game coming up.

I think this is accurate for the most part, but the line on the Florida/Michigan game indicated late sharp money coming in on the Gators, as the line dipped to Michigan -3 right before kickoff. I think it may have also dropped some in the Miss St/NC State game also, and the Wisky/USC line more or less held steady, never going below 3 and peaking at 4.

Last I checked the Michigan spread was 4.5 and that was like 10 minutes before kickoff. Also, Wisky line moved slightly from +4 (-105) to +4 (-115). Even those tiny little moves have played a role. Of course, it depends what site you use but it's a trend I've noticed. Not that I've jumped on them as I had Stanford, Ole Miss, Arkansas and Georgia a few days before, but just something I noticed.
