Been cleaning up lately. I think I'm in the zone. Gonna try to keep it rolling with this play.

These two teams have similar makeups... staunch defenses with lackluster offenses. I'm not quite sure why the Gators are receiving four and half points, but I'll take 'em. I think this game will be close, as one would expect given the matchups.

I like the fact that Florida stumbled down the stretch, escaping FAU and getting beat down by FSU and Alabama. That usually ensures that players will be very focused for their bowl game, wanting to rid their mouths of the bad taste and end the season on a positive note.

Florida should played inspired football and their defense will keep them in the game for four quarters. We just witnessed what happens when a vanilla, pro-style offense meets a speedy, SEC defense. (See Cotton Bowl)

The Gator offense will have to find a way to put up points, but the additional preparation time should be a boon for a young quarterback like Treon Harris.

Not only that, but the Citrus Bowl is in Orlando, which should serve as a de facto home game for Florida. I think the Gators are a very live dog here, and the points will come in handy if it's close.

I agree, the Florida offense has been cringe-worthy since the suspension of Grier, but both punters will get a workout for this game... I don't seen any overwhelming edge for Michigan on the whole.

I think it's easier for a coaching staff to find a quick-fix for an offense, heading into a bowl game, than it is to put a patch on a crappy defense. That being said, I expect the Gator defense to keep Florida in the game, and the offense will probably unveil some new wrinkles to find a rhythm for Harris and manufacture points. If this game were played in the regular season, I might feel different about it... but I think the layoff is an advantage to the dog in this spot.

Good write-up. My issue with backing Florida like most is I just don't know how in the world they're gonna score unless their defense scores points. I backed Florida vs FSU and said I'd never back them again lol.

Sitting on the sidelines in the early games but jumping all over Stanford later. Love the Cardinal in their home state against a team they are much better than.
