Shaw bailed out with the FG. First, he doesn't go for two when up 5. Second, he calls TO with 6 seconds left. I don't know how a 40-yard FG takes 6 seconds, but glad there was no crazy lateral runback where ND would blow the cover.

I don't think ND was making the Final 4 anyways. If Clemson loses, they are taking Ohio State.

Kelley bailed him out! ND got the 1st down on 4th down at the 3 yd line and immediately called timeout with :40 seconds left. I was thinking at that time to let the clock run a little because they obv had time for 4 plays with 2 more timeouts. Shaw was too dumb to call one. Cost ND the game Shaw's an idiot. I remember how he screwed up Andrew Lucks last game in the bowl vs Okie State.

It'll be a great game...far better than Duke getting destroyed by Florida State every year, anyway...makes you wonder how UNC lost to the Gamecocks to start the year.

Don't forget shaw didn't go for 2 to make it a 7 point game. That was the worst coaching mistake of the game IMO

Not so sure about that. Ohio state's resume would still lack that of Clemsons even if Clemson loses next week. Clemson has two quality wins. Ohio states beaten a whopping 1 top 25 team all year. Stanford has a better case than Ohio State with two losses. I think Clemson is in unless NC wins by double digits. Then NC may have a case.
