NAVY vs HOUSTON @ 12:00pm EST
I know this is a huge game for BOTH teams. Most of you know I live in Houston. NO, I do not follow UH football or will I be going to the game. It's UH, why the fuk would I want to be in South Houston?? Like ever???

I have looked at this game for awhile, I watched Navy play the last few weeks & I honestly think that UH will have to play out of this world (might be tough with all the injuries they are facing, esp at QB) to make this a great game. I'll be honest, my gut just tells me that Navy will be celebrating after this game for their spot in the Title game.. UH had a great run, obviously stopped last week by a tough UConn team, but if this Navy team shows up today (I honestly think they will), then they should control the TOP, the yards, first downs and so on.. And if that is the case, I am rolling with Navy on a pretty good size play to win this game and put themselves in that Title game upcoming..

Could be a tough game for sure, UH at home, but look for Navy to run them to death & tire that defense out like they were last week. I waited for that line at Navy -3 to drop, I had no idea it would go all the way to a PK.. It still did not push me off Navy, I liked em all week, I like em today, I'll gladly take the drop in the line in my favor. Best of luck to anyone who plays this game, Happy Holidays!!!

Oops, I didn't mean to post it twice, not sure why it did that, my computer is strange, lol.. I don't know how to delete a thread, so if anyone comments on the game, I guess the other thread will just drop to the bottom. Hope to make some money to get the day started, Cheers!!!

Again, BOL to everyone & have a wonderful day!!!

I thing Navy's defense looked a lot better than Houston's, after each team had a possession. The Cougars scored a touchdown, but they had to convert four 3rd downs to do so, including an offsides penalty that aided the drive. Navy, on the other hand, gashed them with little resistance. Let's go Middies!!!

So sick of that bullshit. 3 weeks in a row I've been on a team that has dropped an easy pick and it's been tipped up in the air and the receiver luckily catches the bullshit terrible pass.

Yeah, this has been a frustrating start so far for the Navy defense. They are making positive plays but then allowing Houston to convert every third down. The last one should have been an interception, or at least an incompletion to force fourth down.

Houston has run 26 plays to Navy's 6. Hope Navy D doesn't wear out. Could get ugly. Hou 6-7 on 3rd down. 1-1 on 4th.

I saw that pointless stat too. Both have 2 possessions. It just so happens that Navy busted a big play while rumbling through the horrible Houston D. I wouldn't count on Houston picking up 3rd and longs continuously as well as getting extremely lucky tipped balls caught.

Big third down for Navy's offense to start the 2nd quarter.

Should be back to back stops for both defenses except Navy can't catch a gimmie interception

                                            Touchdown Navy!!!

All squared up at 14, I like our chances for us Navy backers. The way Houston scored their touchdowns is less sustainable over 60 minutes than the way Navy did. Navy is gonna continue to do what they do every week, and Houston will tire out by the fourth quarter.

Why is it every time Ward tucks it and runs, there's open green pastures in front of him? Navy needs to use on spy on this cat. They are gifting Houston first downs. He's not even 100%. Get a few solid hits on him and he'll start to think twice about taking off.

Son of a 30 year military Navy engineer career man checking in.
I've seen so many Navy games with my dad than I care to remember.
I've seen a lot of crappy Navy football teams through the years, I think I'm qualified to say this is the best Navy team since Roger Staubach. (wasn't alive then)

Here's the thing, like the announcers said, Reynolds can pass.
He won't make anyone forget Dan Marino, but Reynolds has a clue when he drops backs and throws.
They list him at 5' 11", but he can't be more than 5' 9" 1/2, too bad, if he was any bigger he'd be collecting checks in the league that pays for play on Sundays.

Every year when I was a kid during the Army / Navy game, but dad used to utter "I hate fukking Army"

                                                          "Go Navy, beat Army"!

God bless our military, Happy Thanksgiving all.

Yeah, that defensive play call on 4th and 2 earlier was horrendous. They played it like it was 4th and 10.

Very undisciplined defense again. Just normally don't see this from Navy
