Lol it's FSUs homecoming game and Bowden is being honored. FSU has lost one homecoming game in 2.5 decades.

however 30 points are a lot.

Here's my 2 cents on the NC State FSU game. There is one really big unknown coming into this game. NC State is getting there starting QB, Brandon Mitchell, back after losing him in the first quarter of the first game of the season with a broken bone in his foot. His replacement has been horrible (except for the Clemson game he was mediocre) and it's forced the Pack defense to stay on the field way too much. Who knows how this kid will play after being out for 7 weeks. Mitchell is a 5th year transfer from Arkansas where he was a backup his entire career and decided to transfer somewhere he could get playing time for his last year of eligibility. So besides the 3 series he started in the first game in NC State's first game in Raleigh, he has no experience as a starting QB. It's really a horrible game for him to make a comeback but thats how the cards have fallen. Who knows how he'll perform on the road against one of the best defenses in the country. I'm not expecting too much out of him. We don't give up a ton of points on defense and I expect our defense to play well against the Noles. In the end I predict FSU will have there way at home with a decimated Wolfpack team that just doesn't have the talent to keep up. I expect a final of 42-16

I wouldnt consider FSU on "upset alert". You do remember they were upset as the #3 team just a season ago vs NCST right? They will be prepared this time around at Home plus its homecoming as other posters brought up. FSU will name the score and Jimbo knows they need style pts incase Bama and Oregon win out. Tread lightly my friend.

Oh okay, yeah 30 is a lot. But I was one of the many who though 24.5 was too much against Maryland. No bet for me.

The over in FSU games has been doing well for me, didn't bet it in the Clemson game (believe it went under by 1) but took the second half over which covered.

there are some other factors in play for that fsu game. revenge from last year for fsu, but nc st has a bye off a home loss. considering that fsu lost a lot of guys from last year, i dont think the revenge angle can be considered as strong an angle.

The vast majority of the receiving core remembers, all of our runningbacks (one of whom was a safety last year who got chastised for blowing several assignments in the game) remember, Winston remembers (he was helping with signals on the sideline). Waiting on the total to post. After the noles singlehandedly covered the over against Maryland I made the decision that thats the best play with them for the year.

I watch FSU every year and they always find a way to blow it, but they look different this year. Especially with Winston at the helm.
I still don't trust them, been burned too many times.

Bear in mind i said i wouldnt lay the 30, i also didnt lay points to maryland, clemson, or bc. I am more skeptical of fsu covering bc theyre my team. However ive bet the over consistently.

The one thing that concerns me about fading FSU (or Oregon) at this point in the year is that I feel like these coaches are going to try to put on shows to woo the voters.
