Got a 9 team parlay going..hit the first 7, have two teams left but I'll be out rest of the night, otherwise I'd prob just look for a live line to play on the games.. 10 to win 930 so I'd like to lock something in if possible, especially after the Nats beat yesterday.

bet against the other two teams for $200 each or a different amount depending on how much faith you have.

only problem is if only 1 of ark or fla hits I'd lose the parlay and the juice..ahh well maybe I'll just let it ride and maybe I'll finally turn the last few bad days

You put $200 on each team and what happens if 1 loses? Don't you lose on everything that way?

Yeah, but its the only way to hedge if you are dead set on hedging imo.

yea, but that'd be a loss of $50 (assuming you bet $220 on each of those) vs. a chance to win $400-500.

                          Bet $220 on each:

MTSU and UK cover: win original parlay, but total down to $490
MTSU and Ark cover: lose parlay and juice, $50 loss
FIU and UK cover: lose parlay and juice, $50 loss
FIU and Ark cover: lose parlay, but win both new bets, up $390

                          essentially a 50/50 shot, risking $50 to win $400+

not saying you have to do that....nothing wrong with letting it ride. Just saying I think it's worth the risk to lose the juice if you want to hedge.

right now im risking 10 to win 930 .. so risking 50 to win 400? I think I'm missing something..I'm probably going to put a few on FLA and let kentucky ride and see if I can put a halftime bet on my phone on either if I get a chance and it looks right

there's 4 possible outcomes in those two games....in your parlay only one gets you paid. if you hedge that's giving you another outcome that gets you paid. Like I said, nothing wrong with letting it ride (or checking in at halftime if you can on your phone), but if you want to increase your odds of winning something...it's not a bad bet.

You better hedge the fukk out of Kentucky. They have a good shot at not covering...

and you should always hedge large parlays unless you know something that the books don't know. Take the sure profit.

Well midd tenn ended up hitting and ark / kent fortunately was cancelled ..so I ended up having the bet changed to an 8 team parlay and hitting..when I saw the score of the ark game and then saw it was listed as no action I couldn;t believe it.
