Although it was in mma, falcao is a national boxing champ in brasil (which I'm slowly learning from you guys on here beinga brasilian boxer doesn't mean shit haha) and maldonado tko'd him twice, so perhaps that was the best 'boxer' he fought (one of those stoppages a very sloppy stoppage more due to exhuastion from falcao I think).Comment -

#110you have a source for his brazilian boxing record??
I would love to check it out, as there are some other former brasilian boxers who've gone into mma that I think such a source would be useful. If you have a link I'd appreciate it, I can't find anything on pro brasilian boxing.Comment -

he's gonna eat shit after a few of fabio's boxing hooks
people forget Fabio and Dos Santos are training partners they exchange punches all day and Fabio has a chin of granite while Igor is a wreckless striker with a glass jawComment -

#113Yeah, I was just kidding. But I did bet $50 on Carlo Prater. In my own ranking, I have Eric Silva #1 in the 170lbs division, better than GSP and Carlos Condit. I already have $700 lockup @ -139 vs Charlie Brenneman.Comment -

I would appreciate it if you really do have that source as I'd love to check it out.
Btw, you have a link / documentation to all your wins that you claim from your post on the other page? You claim to have won a lot and I'm not saying I don't believe you and that you're a 'retroactive bet poster' as many are on here are, but I can't recall you posting your plays over the past year and am curious of your past picks - I would be interested to see your past plays if you have them posted somewhere on here or another site. Sounds like you've done well so I'm curious what your big wins / play patterns were.
Thanks and GL tomorrow, you got some decent money spread around!!!Comment -

#116Anybody have a link to the Kingsbury v Maldonado fight? Fuking ufc.tv doesn't have it for some reason. Maldonado put in some really good work to the body and from what I remember Kingsbury didn't like that shit. Weird that they don't have it because it was FOTN, probably because it made their little hype **** "Kingsbu" look like the stiff he is.
But oh, they have Claude Patrick vs Daniel Roberts (En Español). Thanks Dana, I'll watch that instead.Comment -

#117Have a look for yourself. This clip has a bunch of his boxing highlights, some from amatuers too. You can't really tell that much but after watching it I'd be inclined to believe what theyre saying about the level of competition. Plus, its Brazilian boxing man, these guys must have been some of the biggest bums on the planet, no joke.
Indeed, pretty horrendous technique from both fighters in those few boxing matches. I'm not saying I don't believe it, trust me I do, I just want the source he / someone has for future reference.
The tone I'm getting here is that igor is better on the feet, which I just can't agree with. BUt I've been surprised before and have underestimated many opponents before, so who knows...
At first I was realy liking maldonado and loved the opener odds, but I'm trying to listen to the sbr board more and not be hard headed (learned a lot from the big loss on palhares and I was too strong headed to be influenced out of that play, so trying to be more open minded / receptive to others insight)... yet I still have yet to read a solid argument for igor, but because many are playing him its scaring me out of backing maldonado. Prob stay away from this one and pay the juice on rda str8 up!Comment -

#118It's true he fought cans in Brazilian Boxing but it still doesn't take away from the fact that his boxing is very good and his chin is granite
Kingsbury beat him because he beasted him on the ground , he was way bigger than Maldanado by the time the fight started he just couldn't deal with his weight and power
Igor isn't the same type of fighter he's more of a reckless guy who likes to get into brawls, once he brawls it out with Fabio he's not gonna like it and when he tries to take him to the ground he's not going to succeedComment -

#124After kind onf looking everything over. I have money straight on Marcus LeVesseur at -120. I think the other solid play is to parlay Tom Lawlor and Brad Tavares. May throw some small bets on some live dogs but Besides those three picks, I think all the other matchups are definite toss ups. What you guys think about those fights? Any feedback good or bad is welcome.Comment -

This what I post before the Diaz vs Miller fight day.
My $$$ is on Vemola too but only slightly disagree, I likely have $20-$50 on it. Vemola is young, approaching his prime and yes he does lack technique but he have naturally brute force which will make up for it. He never been finished and an fading Massenzio with 3-5 record in the last 8 fights will not finished Vemola. Massenzio only way of winning is to grind a decision but if Vemola going beast mode early, he could catch Massenzio by ko or sub or .... decision if he have enough gas to wins first 2 rounds. This is a fun bet, not a lock bet....for me.
My lockbet is Nate Diaz, Lavar Johnson, and Johnnly Hendricks. I have 3g+ on them, am quite nervous going against Libert1ne who I think is very solid..
I only know how to post pic using imageshack but it doesn't like this site. If you want to know if I am bsing you, it easy for you to check on me. Go to BestFightOdds and check out the fight between Condit and Diaz in the Pinnacle graph. You will see the graph reach +186 for condit, than it drop (this is where I bet 2.5g on Condit). Or Stefan Struve vs Mark Hunt graph where it reach +119, this where I bet 2g again.Comment -

#133I didn't post early because I am not sure how successful I am, I only being doing this for 6 months and found some good success in the last 2 events. I am still not sure if I have what it takes.
This what I post before the Diaz vs Miller fight day.
There is no patterns regarding my big play. I only play big if I DON'T have to analysis the fight, the fight have a feel to it. The fight will play out in my head without much effort from me. I know it sound BS but it is true. This coming event I have no feel for it, no big play for me. Not 1 fight play out in my head for this event, I think I am too tense right now. I have too much $$$ lockup on Stefan Struve. This fight between Stefan Struve and Mark Hunt did play out in my head so I bet very heavy on Struve. But I got carry away and bet more than 25% of my bankroll, I should never bet more than 10% of my bankroll on 1 fight. It will be wicked emberrassing if I lose this bet, I will drown in my sorrow and will likely be the last time I post here. I just hope the line shift it momentum so I can arb down my bet to 2.5g - 3g, than I will be static but right now it seems like I am f*ck the way Mark Hunt being hammer. If Struve line continue to move up to +135, I might goes crazy again and put another 2g into it .... FML.

Sucks you don't have a play record I would love to take a gander and see if we had similar plays and I'm always curious to see what plays people have gone big on in the past.
We have a very similar style I think (I don't think what you said is BS at all I totally feel you and I do the same thing), I also only play big / more than a line if I can really envision / play the fight out in my head with confidence. I'm good at visualizing things, but I often over analyze how the fight will play out.
Dude you got some big money on this card from what I see, don't know what you're talking about... Perhaps you meant no big play / thousand dollar bet this event...The only fight I can see playing out during this event with confidence was RDA dominating kamal, we'll see how that one works out haha. Thought I had a good idea about maldonado over igor but many people have swayed my thinking so I am staying away and trying to be disciplined as my bankroll is much smaller than normal right now.
I gotta go with hunt, I'm probably the only guy on here that has bet him the past three fights and I gotta back him again, although I could definitely see struve get it down to the ground in the 2nd or 3rd when mark slows. THis is a hard fight to predict and because hunt isn't a big dog as he has been his past 3 fights I am prob gonna stay away or bet small. If you like struve I think its a solid play, I just wouldn't go big on it so hopefully you can arb out of some of it. Overall though dude, I'm a firm believer in going with your gut feeling - you're initial thoughts and feelings are usual correct!! GL this weekend manComment -
