Pretty sure Bigday meant in terms of looks rather than skillset. I agree with him, he does look like a stockier Edgar

So I guess Mendes would be -1100 against a can, since he was only -575 against Yahya Sistahood
As I said above, does that mean Korean Zombie is a can because he was +400 + against Hominick?

I could have asked you the same when you said Faalooto was a can when he was a big dog against Etim.

The fact that you said Faalooto was a can made me assume that anyone unknown (for the most part) who is a big dog is a "can" (I had never even heard of that term before)

Regardless if Yahya is a can or not, Mendes sure made him look like one. So I felt my assumption was safe.

And also, when did he make him look like a big can exactly? Have you watched the fight or just looked at the scorecard on wikipedia? If winning a decision makes somebody a big can then what would knocking him out or choking him out inside the first round make him to be? A super-duper can?

Vitooch what have you ever contributed? Because to me it seems you're just trying to ride gabe and I coat tails. I warned gabe and big day about that overpriced line on cerrone. I'm glad i have fanboy though. Stick around and keep hating you might learn something about sports betting.

Why when discussing fighters in the context of sports betting would anyone bring up looks?

It seems to me to be a latent homosexual tendency that i see a lot on sports forums.

Geez pal, no reason to hate.
I lost my cerrone wager. Glad you cashed.
I ended the year with mma being very profitable. Hope you did also.

Mendes is on a tear and I think he comes into this fight more motivated and prepared than ever. Imo, Aldo is sick of cutting to 145. I hope to get Mendes around +275 by fight time. So pump Aldo up!

Not hating at all bigday did you see what this dumb ass posted? I make a thread discussing an upcoming fight and the line set and this cracker jack bettor has the nerve to say I'm polluting the sub-forum. As opposed to all his great threads.

At quick glances, it's actually quite astonishing.

I actually see this fight a lot like the lightweight battle we saw in Bellator with Michael Chandler/Avarez. odds are about the same too...

Yeah, you guys did say for sure he was a can, not perceived as one. I watched the Mendes/Yahya fight live. I honestly did think to myself after, "this guy must be a jobber." It seemed to me Mendes was put against him just to stay in shape, pretty much guaranteeing a win. I don't recall him ever being in any real danger.

Anyway, I didn't hold up a sign saying the dude is a can, it was just something I said in passing, don't read too much into it. I'm not the president of the Anti Yahya Sistahood fanclub.

I've still got a lot to learn in MMA. I've been a UFC guy. I need to watch a lot of WEC and Pride fights, I never saw one live in their day, and have only seen a few matches here and there.
