So....I may not agree with the idea they're two of the top five all-time, but there's nothing ridiculous about that idea. It's definitely debatable, the Fedor argument can make itself (and BELIEVE me I have hated on many a Fedor apologist), and Dan Henderson is the only man to ever hold two titles in two different weight classes concurrently, and it's not like PRIDE was a fluff fighting promotion.

I think Fedor is on the decline for a number of reasons .... 1. Pride matchmaking/judging 2. ring vs cage (ring is much harder to takedown in IMO) 3.Age 4. Strategy and/or lack of one 5. Sambo fundamentals do not include escapes from mount? I don't think they do... 6. I think when Pride set up matches it was not about winning the fights as much as a "good showing" or "fighting spirit" --watching the old pride fights you can see they did not use strategy as much as fighters do in ufc now a days. Big change that Fedor did not adapt with.
