I saw that but I just don't see Volkov winning any other way then by KO in a 5 round fight with Struve.. Winning by decision is a possibility but I'm not betting on it.. Don't think either have the grit or tank to make it the distance.. Volkov does have some power.. Struve has been dropped before..

A lot of dogs did hit in the DWCS. But the first fight dog hitting I'm sure is just a coincidence. I can't think of any logical reason why that would be a trend.

If you can put someone behind the 8 ball with a loss in the first game.

Sometimes you can make them emotional and they'll start chasing bad plays.

That's the potential house advantage of arranging a surprise underdog hit in the first fight of the night.

I remember Ketlen Vieira, Gray Maynard, Thibault Gouti and a few others although in hindsight its not as common as I was thinking it might be. August and the Conor vs Floyd sideshow screwed with my sense of time.

I bet on Green but thought Khabilov won. I believe that you can't reward fighters who back up and stall. And that's what Green was doing for most of the second half of the fight. You gotta reward the fighter who comes forward and shows initiative. Otherwise the fight will be a staring contest.
