But if you are hedging out the last leg of $50 parlays that pay $1,100 and at the same time throwing down $12,000 on single fights, that's not a rational, consistent approach to risk taking.

Hedging out those tiny parlays is something I would only recommend to like a poor college kid for whom $1,100 is a ton of money.

At the same time, throwing $12,000 on single events is something that can only be recommended to a serious professional or a whale.

So which are you? Poor college kid or pro/whale?

I see what you’re saying. I’m paying vig twice. I don’t hedge 50% tho. I do a HalfAssHedge. If I have $55/$1100, I’ll hedge to win $55, not $550. It’s more of a “freeroll” than a hedge, I guess.
