        3003 Gracie / Shamrock goes 3 round distance +240

This is about as good as a +240 you will find. Gracie has never submitted anyone in mma who knew even a little about BJJ in his entire career. Decent kicks but no power. No boxing. He does, however, have a very good defensive guard and good stamina and has only been tko'd once in his career by a prime matt hughes. Sure he's fighting to pay off the IRS but the Gracie's are a proud lot. He won't just quit. But there's nothing he can really do to Shamrock either. I see a lot of clinching with Shamrock getting the better of it because of the strength/juice advantage. Maybe a takedown or 2 if his hips can even get low enough anymore. Gracie may even pull guard which will do nothing but kill more time. Lays on him to take the first 2 rounds. 3 rd round will be gross. Maybe Royce will get on top by way of Shamrock fatigue but still won't be able to mount any offense. Shamrock wins 29-28 on all 3 score cards.

The last time Shamrock fought Gracie, Hakeem played against Horace Grant in the NBA finals. The only way this is watchable is if you bet it IMO.

Why? Both guys have 2 kos combined between them, and both can defend a sub, I'm not betting the fight but it could easily go the distance.

Man jibbby, I usually stick up for you, but you have sucked lately. This fight goes the distance a lot of the time, neither man has ANY offense, and they will likely lay in each others guard, and hug and heel kick each others spleens like the second time. And first time I believe.

I'm going to hold you to that post, btw.

He has to be running low on cash, its a easy out, the month off would be a blessing for him.

^^^My prop plays have been stellar lately please, read the event threads.. Superbowl loss I did bomb out on but I also hedged that thanks to Tpow's suggestion... So that doesn't count..

As far as these 2 old farts going the distance - Shamrock and Gracie would have gone the distance 20 years ago and did.. Today not a chance.. Dream on Miri and Josh as one will get injured or look for an early exit... Ken Shamrock didn't make a minute with Kimbo in his last fight.. Same happens here.. No telling what happens with Royce Gracie, he could just get injured and quit or get knocked out.. Didn't Matt Hughs destroy Royce Gracie and basically break his arm like 10 years ago in round 1? Royce Gracie got crushed in that fight.. Royce Gracie hasn't even fought in 10 years and he's 50 years old now.. This is laughable....

Please fellas... Understand the situation... This is nothing more then a payday for both fighters.. Getting out uninjured will be the biggest concern for both, Gracie has kids and a family now to think about, Ken Shamrock is like Phil Baroni but worse as he'll try for 30 seconds, gas out and quit....

Oh and I'm far from broke fellas.. Infact, I'm rich biitch!!! Miri you know this.. Millionaire several times over.. I'm retired and don't even need to work.. Gambling is basically a fun hobby for me... These are the facts and they are undisputed.. Don't like to brag though.. Life is good for Jibs..

Yes, Gracie certainly have the finishing power of Kimbo penetrating slice. Did you see that video of him hitting pads? He will take shammy's head off with the quickness.

John, you really want me to go back and dig up those lies you told like last time? Anyway, if you are infact so Rich, you should be betting way more, except ofcourse if you have no confidence in your picks? Hmm...

I'm torn. I think Jibby is right that we could get an injury TKO but I think at +250 or do, you have to play it going the distance. This shit just doesn't seem playable to me

How do you get injuried laying in another man's guard?

You don't get rich by throwing around money Miri, something you haven't learned yet.. You do get rich by investing the money you make and then making that money work for you in the future.. Then at some point you don't have to work for money anymore in the real world as you just sit back and get checks sent to you monthly and or weekly in the mail.. You then retire like me and enjoy life at age 47...

I always have bet in the hundreds and I always will Miri. There are limits also at the books ya bone head especially with prop betting and futures which you should already know.... I don't get carried away with my gambling and never have.. My goal has always been to win 1000's betting with 100's and not betting 1000's to win just 100's like some of you fools do in this section.... Betting -300 favorites.. I wanna shot some people when I see this...

What lies have you ever caught me in Miri on this forum? Did i lie when I spanked Nunya's ass in a month long gambling contest and half his troll followers on this forum when everyone thought they were a better gambler then me? Did I lie about anything when I was Doxxed like no one else on this forum also about my properties and other stuff? The answer is NO...

I am right.. 50 year olds will get injured or quit even rolling on the ground.. These guys don't even know how to take a punch or lay and pray for 3 rounds anymore.. I didn't even see them sparring.. Ken was splashing around in a pool.. Royce was taking a nap on mat with his gi on..

This fight doesn't get out of the 1st round.. This fight is a joke..

I didn't even see them sparring.. Ken was splashing around in a pool.. Royce was taking a nap on mat with his gi on..

Gracie came in at 190 and Shamrock at 201..

Dada with a 33 pound weight advantage over Kimbo is eye opening for sure..

The big difference between their fights in the early 90's and today is that the ref will stand them up more often. I see no way these guys have the gas tank to go 15 minutes at 50 years of age. -300 now is shocking. Thought it would head the other way.

A man that finally understands the concept of being 50 years old in a young mans sport...

Ken Shamrock I know can't go the distance at 52 years old carrying around all that juiced up muscle weight.. Grappling is very taxing on the cardio so if it goes to the ground Ken will be done after a round even if he's just laying on top of Gracie and breathing hard.. Punching is the same after a few flurry bursts.. Gracie not far behind Ken I'm sure.. Refs will stand them up if nothing is happening which is a great point!!!

Unless it's fixed and they both discussed how to play out this fight safetly and carefully I certainly don't see this bout getting past a round and half.. No chance of it going the distance!! NO WAY!!!

A bit surprised to see Royce tip the scale at 190 as he claimed to be at 180. I can see two scenarios of one trying to pull a shocker on one another.

                                              1. Shamrock will submit Royce.
                                              2. Royce will try to KO Shamrock.

                                              I'm going with Ken.

If I were Shamrock at 52 years of age I'd keep the fight standing, close the distance and just try to knock out the smaller man. He's not fighting big Kimbo with the heavy hands, he's fighting Royce Gracie with those skinny little arms...

I'd blow my wad and hope for the best throwing down, if tired, fake a trip or knock down when gassed out, let Gracie take the back, get choked out get paid and go home.. This is how a 50 year old might think in Kens shoes.. He's not gonna take anymore fights after this probably regardless. It's a payday that's all..

I wouldn't be shocked if this fight doesn't hit the ground and go into lay and pray mode..

there was similar movement in a UFC event in China recently but there was no shady business during the fight. the big favorite ended up winning even though his line dropped massively. weren't dada and kimbo friends at one point? i hate to speculate a fix but if this line is gonna drop to evens like it did in vegas, im gonna put some money on Dada right now
