Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if this ended up being a snooze fest. Machida being the counter and elusive fighter he is will be passive. Romeo may just dance around with him and not be as aggressive. I don't know his game plan but him headlining a card, he may want to pace himself.

Either way, I'm sticking to just Romero FTW.

Yoel is basically the -200 favorite the first 3 rounds... It's crazy to see people betting machida at favorite odds, when he has the weather the first 3 rounds to make it to the 4th and 5th rounds... He's not gonna make it there, plus he's a slow starter. Plus everything you mentioned, bad matchup for machida. This has to be a Yoel play or no play imo

Machida looks good and ready though, wants to rebound after the Luke Rockhold loss.... Yoel only has 10 pro fights to date.. Machida will have the tricks, and experience edge big time going in.. It's all about him getting out of the 1st round still standing on his feet IMO...
