scoring it round by round I don't see how anyone could say Lawler won.

If you go by which guy looks the worst, then yeah, that's the way you could say he won, because Hendricks was bleeding profusely in the last couple of rounds and Hendricks' punches didn't draw any blood for some reason (and he hit him a heck of a lot of times).

That's what you imply, had all the money been on lombard somehow shields would be able to take hector down and lay on him AND the refs would allow it for the duration
