Mayweather gave Canelo too much respect. If he attacked earlier he could have gotten a knockout.

That's the one thing most people don't like about Floyd. He doesn't take chances, he plays close to the vest and is satisfied to put on a clinic and not get in a brawl. That doesn't endear him to the fans that want to see blood but the fans aren't the ones in the ring getting hit either. I wouldn't take unnecessary hits either if I was him. Retire in good health.

I don't know how you beat Floyd. His hand speed and defense is so good and he knows how to roll his shoulders and absorb blows. He is an expert against the ropes with his countering techniques. A lot of fighters have tried to brawl and push and shove him and he just break them down with pot shots that end up having them backing up. It probably takes a smaller, quicker guy but I haven't seen anyone quicker at any weight class thus far.
