The Ukranian's chin and his rib issues here make me think he will also be undervalued going forward... And I honestly don't know why everyone's hating on this fight - what Palelei did in round 1 would (and has) finish most opponents.

Ha prolly a good strategy.

But other thoughts? I kind of like Camus, he's quick, and looks like Kang's jitz is not that good he's just gotten most of his opponents with volume submission attempts.

Congrats Nunya. I only watched the first round because I was eating dinner with my family. After seeing how gassed Palelei was at the end of the first I thought we were screwed. Glad he won but Beelzebubzy is correct, Soa Palelei is fantastic future fade material. I bet he had an adrenaline dump out there + weight cut + being huge. Best case scenario is he gets a good stylistic matchup for his next fight and somehow manages to win it and then we can get the ultra fade on his third fight.

Not if the fighter doesn't tell the UFC / AC. Guys fight with bad injuries all the time.

side note..why does Dana keep forcing Bendo to fight in his opponents home towns, last time Gilbert in San Jose, now Pettis in Milwaukee.

practically every fight GSP has in in freaking Canada. I know they can't hold fights in Hawaii but c'mon

Defended vs Edgar in Colorado. Other Edgar fight and Diaz fight were neutral.

man thats some heavy chalk to lay the way this fight has turned a bit. I know Kong is dominated this fight on top but its swayed a bit.

home town, judges = never a good thing.

as long Kong finishes in this dominate position, he's in now tho your fine tho.

30-27 Kang IMO. Judges will probably score it 29-28 Kang. If Camus wins it'll be a complete robbery.

He did drop him with a knee early on. Kang reversed position though so tough to call. I think Kang gets it but I bet Chico live after round two at +250. Not a bad bet IMO
