Broner and his brush vs. Pauli
    Pauli +1100
    $100
Pauli wins inside the distance +3400
    $100

I dont believe Broner is getting this much credit from Vegas. Yes he has skill and it seems he may be a boxer that we will be watching for some time to come, but 11- 1 against a seasoned vet who has been in the ring with some really tough fighters does not add up. also the fact of the move up in weight. Broner could have had a fight with Guerrero a bit back but never committed. I believe he chose the move up and his 1st fight at the weight with Pauli because he sees a guy thats seems to have little power due to the low KO rate. He is truly underestimating Pauli in every sense.
I am not convinced of a Pauli victory ,but I do know he will give it his all as he always does and @ this point I believe he has the advantage not Broner. Had the odds been much lower I would have just watched and enjoyed as the big fan I am, but cant not drop a couple bills on this with the potential big payout for a fight that in my eyes is much closer than the odds indicate. If Broner dominates - so be it. I love boxing and respect all that have the big skills. Tho this kid really needs to grow up - He has the attitude that all he has to do is lace up and get in the ring and he will win. I hope I'm right and he gets a fat reality check tonight. It's gona be a hell of a fight

I feel like I should point out that Malignaggi is almost never finishing Broner, but then I remember that even if Malignaggi "wins a decision", he won't win the decision. We all know how judging in boxing is.

Tough fight for Malignaggi; everything is stacked against him here.

Except for that the fight is in his backyard. I doubt it matters, Broner should kick his ass. Malinaggi has fought way better comp but lost to those guys and looked like garbage in his last fight against Cano.

I dont feel that way. From the day the fight was set I felt Pauli had the advantage. He has nothing to prove. Broner is the one that has a lot to prove tonight. If Pauli loses most will say I told ya so and according to the odds most believe he has no shot. If Broner loses he is set to take a huge turn heading south. Losing in his 1st fight at welter weight w/ Pauli who is considered by many to be a average fighter that lacks power would be a devastating blow for him. Not to say he couldnt bounce back from it and more than likely would- but regardless it would be a big ? mark on his rep until he redeemed himself. Pauli has been in with some big hitters and he's only been stopped twice. Also redeemed his loss to Diaz and did it pretty convincingly. Both KO's came in the 11th rd after taking a lot of shots- it's not like one shot put him to sleep. Broner's resume is not to impressive. He does look flashy and its obvious that he does have skill ,but outside of Demarco and Ponce in my opinion -he really hasnt faced to stiff of competition. Litzau decent, Perez decent, Rees a lot of heart but looked like a smurf to a 5/8 Broner. Pauli is going to bring heat at him and tonight will be a big step up in competition. If he wins I will give him credit.

ya- the cano fight wasnt impressive to say the least. I think we see a different Pauli tonight. As I said in the 1st post- had the odds been even or any where close I would not bet, but i like the odds and do believe Pauli is worth the gamble @ such a big underdog. Broner may be the next big pay per view force but he aint yet- he has to prove it. If he destroys Pauli then he will move up a few notches. If it goes the distance and is close on the cards then he gets no respect from me. He passed moving up when Guerrero Called him out and that was smart from a up and coming stars camp. He chose Pauli because he 100% thinks he can dominate. Thats dangerous in my opinion.

Broner's locker room looks like a Tyler Perry movie.
