I would not worry about it, unlike the Mir/DC fight the books have this fight fixed in favor of Mir, so even if he does use the same game plan, the judges will bet against him and the books will be making millions.

The whole reason Barnett accepted this deal is because he is being paid off to pull his punches and throw the fight, Bodog and 5dimes are behind the whole thing.

. If you knew anything about MMA you'd know that Mir is the heavyweight Forrest Griffin. To say that he's gotten lucky in a few fights would be an understatement to say the least. Barnett will finish Mir.

I have always and still fully expect Barnett to win. He is just better. Sure Mir CAN sub almost anyone, but it isn't probable. Other than the Nog reversal he has sub'd: An already out Kongo. A green as hell Lesnar who didn't know what he was doing. A Kickboxer in Hardonk. Barnett is more than capable of staying out of subs. Barnett has much better wrestling. Striking is a wash. The real kickers in all of this is Barnett simply has better cardio and is much more durable.

Will be interested to see what the line is.

I dunno. TRT is a great equalizer. Training at Jackson's doesn't hurt either. But if babyface goes back to being pimply, I'd be more confident that the warmaster has found the fountain of youth. Interested to see the lines.

Mir has been training at Jackson's. And he looked like ass vs. DC. Mir is a bum these days and hasn't evolved. Just got beefier and slower.

oddsmakers don't respect Mir that much...JDS was -600 or something, he was -150 against Carwin (if I remember correctly) and +400 vs Cormier...Mir isn't the most "respected" fighter by the oddsmakers, and for good reason. He's the Heavyweight Forrest Griffin...somehow the guy he's fighting always seems to come in at 25% healthy or they just get lucky.

Mir has a chance, I do recall posting in another thread that Mir may have a chance against DC, as DC may slip on a banana peel.
