He definitely doesn't look full chinese can't really tell but he could be Uyghur / turkic mix China has different ethnicities in it as well, Most of China is made up of Han chinese ethnicity 90 % which are the typical chinese looking people. There are also muslim minorities from surrounding areas from when the muslim empire reached china and had to do battle with Chinese and Mongols who couldn't be converted or defeated.
