Arum on Pacquaio: "...his decisions are ours and ours alone"
So much for Pac deciding he would or wouldn't fight Mayweather
"Our contract with Manny Pacquiao is clear. We have a contract until the end of 2014, and it provides clearly that his decisions are ours and ours alone. Manny Pacquiao will fight on HBO and HBO pay-per-view from now until as long as our contract is in effect."
Adviser Michael Koncz says that Manny Pacquiao could consider fighting on any network, but promoter Bob Arum says the Filipino superstar will only be fighting on HBO.

I guess you didn't hear. Manny got KTFO by Marquez months ago. He/Top Rank have no leverage to make a Mayweather fight happen.

No what I thinks so funny about this is it shows Manny has been a puppet all along. It was Arum with his hand up his ass all along. Even in his prime he didnt have the authority to "decide" to fight Money May. So anytime someone says "Pac agreed to Floyds blood testing and was gonna fight him" its BS. Arums decision ALONE, just like he said and we all know HE didnt want the fight.
talk about hindsight being 20/20... i bet "Manny" wishes "he" accepted that 40M guaranteed. He cant even command 80% over Marquez any more, a guy Money May annihilated. Manny has nobody to make 40M guaranteed against, and guess what with Floyds PPV #s and his new showtime deal, he has the last laugh.

I think Manny's made that clear for several years now...
-"Manny, who do you want to fight next?"
-"Bob Arum's my promoter, it's up to him."
Who cares what people say on forums? Everybody turns into Bob Arum and Al Haymon's right hand man when it comes to Manny Pacquiao and Floyd Mayweather. Doesn't mean they know what they're talking about.

NOBODY is making 40 million guaranteed for one fight. Not even Floyd. Showtime will probably offer it if he takes a fight with Canelo. But even that could be contingent on him beating Trout next month.
And if anything, Manny made more money by not fighting Floyd. Guy was still raking in +20m a fight. Losing the way he did will hurt, but he'll still be in the ballpark with the right matchmaking. HBO just lost Golden Boy for the immediate future and Manny will still have demand. They'll pay well for a Pacquiao fight.

Youre soooo stupid. Of course hes gettin that guaranteed, he generates over 1 million PPVs every damn fight now and he gets the highest PPV % of any boxer. you think hes gonna all of a sudden not sell? LOL! moron alert on aisle 5
its semantics. he may be "GUARANTEED", meaining, at MINIMUM paid 20-25-30-32, but once you factor in PPV money he gets, he gets way more than 40m every time he fights now and he has for a while.

Forgive me. His purse is 25-30M a fight, plus he gets a considerable % of the PPV buys. Thus, he is guaranteed, (less his PPVs sell five copies), to rake in 40M+ a fight.
Is that better you $300 bankroll having pieces of shit? now shut up and go play in traffic.
