I would make the same play. Everything I thought would happen did except I though stann would finish him after hurting him

That sort of implies you should regret the play, though, doesn't it? You underestimated Wanderlei's ability to take a shot, as did most people. Discerning reputation from reality is an important part of handicapping, I think. Wanderlei's never had a bum chin, he just has awful defence and carries his momentum straight into punches, just like Struve.

Then again, I thought Hirota was going to stuff Yahya.

Either way Stann sort of is a brawler anyway. He isn't some technical wizard.
no but compared to Wanderlai he is.

YOu would think after getting dropped in the first round by standing right in front of Wand in hooking range he would mix some angles up.

I would never cut Stann he's the type of fighter people love to watch fight that fight vs Wand is already a contender for fight of the year. He put it all on the line, he fought like a warrior both of them did. The UFC would never cut Stann just because he went balls out and didn't stick to a strategy or gameplan. They reward fighters like that if it were true they would have cut Wanderlei a long time ago.
                  Stann solidified himself imo
