wow. giving these guys a very short leash. most of them have 2 straight losses, so its understandable, but fitch?? that one is surprising. maybe his contract expired and they elected not to make a new offer, as opposed to actually being "cut".

This is actually a good thing because now Bellator is going to sign those fighters and we'll have more bellators than UFC's and well have some better matchups like Terry Etim vs Sarnavskiy , Ben Askren vs Jon Fitch, Koreshkov vs Mills etc

People don't want to see Jon Fitch and Jacob Volkmann laying on people for 3 rounds. I appreciate a good ground gameplan as much as I do a great stand up performance, but Fitch's style wasn't to finish fights. The UFC is an entertainment business. Fitch hasn't finished anyone in almost 6 years. He has also been a thorn in the side of the UFC for quite some time. I am in no way surprised that he was cut.
