I assume it was for one of two separate arguments I got into yesterday. One was defending Okami from someone who called him an LNP fighter, and the other for arguing that Pride is both amazing and overrated.

The 'ban message' is strange in that I have never posted anything that wasn't my honest opinion (ergo not trolling), and I hadn't been yellow carded since 2009 iirc when I called Mayhem a moron for his antics in the Strikeforce brawl.

What ever will I do with my time?

But on a serious note, people say things like "trying to make people money" and similar terms and it's all bullshit. You can tell the main purpose of everyone in those sherdog "betting" threads is to win arguments and appear as winning "cappers".

It almost seems that Ed Mcmahon could knock on their door with a million dollar check and they will be like "go away someone on sherdog said Okami was a lnp artist".

Spending all those man hours "handicapping" only to bet those small amounts people list in that thread is the most -EV move you could make. If you claim to do it as a "hobby" then that is fine. But if people really wanted to make more money why not just work harder at their job?

Not to mention that people who are making money know that having others "tail" them and educating the morons about mma can only hurt them.

How does convincing anyone Okami isnt whatever they think he is make you money? How does having someone place the same bet as you do anything but stroke your ego?

I work for a title insurance company. The main part of my job is title examination/underwriting, but I also close real estate transactions, do searching, audit multiple accounts, etc. Title examination and underwriting is basically risk assessment and eliminating any risk. That is why I'm so cheap and bet like a puss - my career has basically engrained that mindset into me.

The bank sent me the check back along with the reason for refusal. I scanned it and sent it to 5D. 5D credited my account the amount a couple days later, and I'm going to request it again on Monday (I couldn't request the past two Mondays because it was new years and christmas.)
