A bit of amateur boxing is quite an understatement. I've boxed much longer than Pat Curran's had his entire career. Don't talk like you know me. Not every high level amateur turns pro, you make decisions in life and I made mine. This isn't an insult at Curran, he has to split his time between many things, not just boxing, and he has very limited number of years.

Like I said, I have a lot of respect for those who have the guts to turn pro, and the advice I'm giving is sound advice. Take it for what it is and quit sucking up so much, it's embarassing to watch.

In the second video, you didn't give the guy any angles and you stood outside of your range throwing straight punches while moving forward, all he has to do is back off slightly and counter you. If you keep striking like that, eventually you're gonna meet a taller guy who knows how to back off exactly enough to counter and you're gonna get knocked out. Also, you really telegraph your strikes, your rhythm is too obvious and there's a clear hesitation. The reason why you're so heistant is because you're not really sure if you have the range.

You have to give him off-beat timings and angles if you want to attack a taller guy. You also have to be much lighter on the feet. Don't attack when he expects to be attacked, its so easy for a taller guy to just back off a little or side step. You better fix this before you meet a competant striker.

I'm not sure what gives you the right to come on here and tell me im going to get knocked out after watching two minutes of one of my fight videos. There's alot of things you need to take into consideration before basically telling me that I suck. That was an amaetur fight I did with a kid who didnt even make weight for the fight. Not only did I still take the fight with him, I also stood with him at least initially because I knew he was a striker and thats where he is good. Flyweight mma fighters also do not hit overwhelming hard like in the higher weight classes. Ive had 18 fights between boxing, kickboxing, and mma and I havent been knocked out or tko'd once. This kid was a competent striker and Im also not going to run into anyone taller then that at flyweight basically ever If i do and its a pro fight ill just take them down. I'm 5'6 with a 70.5 inch reach Im always the taller/longer guy moving back and countering when I want to fyi.

Thanks for the advice though I guess, but I'm not sure what makes you a "competent striker" yourself. I never knew sbr had such high level striking coaches
