Is this known, or just an assumption because of the line releases? 5dimes used to open lines all the times, and sometimes sportsbook does. I don't watch any of his stupid videos, so if its been said I hadn't heard.

Tis known my friend, as he tweets "Opening odds...Rua/Lil Nog...." and then it's only up on Sportbet/5dimes. You'll notice that Bookmaker/BetCris hasnt got odds up for that fight or Picket fight or Hendreson/'Shad etc...

Ufc 158: evens. I think I ended up winning like 5 dollars or something, saw alot of people were on miller/mein over and decided to tail.
my parlays are set up really nicely for the next couple of fights in april, and I have a big play in mind for the next Invicta Fc.

judging REALLY becoming an issue...2 of the worst decisions and they were both UNANIMOUSLY wrong...
fights being given to Cote (home-town) and Hendricks (judges thot' they were counting takedowns and not assessing damage)

Condit definitely won the fight but lost the takedown derby. That was a travesty.

They were both very close, I thought Cote won by a hair, and I did have Condit winning rd 2, just barely, but I would not call it a robbery.

It's interesting that everyone here seems to think Condit won the fight (me as well, I pounded it live). But no major MMA sources called it for Condit. Generally when we cry bad decision, it seems to come from everywhere.

think you have to judge it based on the consistency of how judges usually score fights, rather than your own criteria
condit might have done more damage, and also did so much from his back that hendricks never wanted to play in his guard
but when was the last time you saw judges not giving a round to the guy that hits 4/4 or 5/5 tds? unless he gets rocked bad he'll usually take it

Thought the Hendricks Condit fight was pretty clear cut for Hendricks. Hendricks seemed to land just as much as Condit the first two rounds, he was coming forward, throwing bombs - and landing most of them and finishing all of his flurries with a slam. If the striking is even and one of the guy's is controlling the fight that round, it's pretty obvious who should get the round. If you want to judge by damage, I'm pretty sure after the 1st and 2nd rounds, Condit was the one with the bloody face and Hendricks the one without a mark. Condit was more active from the back in round 3, but the judges unanimously gave him that round. There was no booing in the crowd, clearly it was a sound decision.

Anyone who has a problem with the decision is probably one of the people who helped juice Condit to being a favorite, lol.

I wrestled in high school, I'm mostly a defensive wrestler with striking and good bjj. I fought basically a pure striker in that second video though, I couldnt even reach him. He was 5'9 and dropped from 135

In the second video, you didn't give the guy any angles and you stood outside of your range throwing straight punches while moving forward, all he has to do is back off slightly and counter you. If you keep striking like that, eventually you're gonna meet a taller guy who knows how to back off exactly enough to counter and you're gonna get knocked out. Also, you really telegraph your strikes, your rhythm is too obvious and there's a clear hesitation. The reason why you're so heistant is because you're not really sure if you have the range.

You have to give him off-beat timings and angles if you want to attack a taller guy. You also have to be much lighter on the feet. Don't attack when he expects to be attacked, its so easy for a taller guy to just back off a little or side step. You better fix this before you meet a competant striker.

As much as I generally disagree with JamesKim, he's making an attempt at constructive criticism. I'm not saying his criticism is correct (I haven't watched the fights yet), but he's trying to help. At the very least it was coherent and well put together. People miss things, even when they're surrounded by world-class athletes. If everyone in the world did obvious shit just because they trained with good camps, Demian Maia would have good cardio and Struve would have developed a jab years ago.
