    Fairlay and Pinnacle
I've noticed whenever I place a wager on Fairlay, the odds immediately shift which is then reflected on Pinnacle. I've also seen wager grading time match exactly with Pinnacle's. Anyone have any clue why? I thought at Fairlay we're wagering against other users, not the house.

grading time match exactly with Pinnacle's - very interesting. the results are often entered by the market makers fairlay the couple guys there do not grade much. is Pinny an official API or whatever its called market maker on fairlay exchange for some markets? how sure are you on that grading comment?

I'm certain actually. I bet on a line on both pinnacle and fairlay, which wasn't drafted for 2 days up until it was drafted at literally the same several minutes.

For the most part, Fairlay is a sportsbook. There are a couple of market makers. One is somehow involved with Pinny.

When you are betting the Pinnacle prices posted on Fairlay, whoever the market maker is has a script to immediately make the same bet on Pinnacle, that's why the line moves. That person is making money by pocketing whatever commission they get from Pinnacle for the action or it's Fairlay themselves doing it to generate their own commission off the action

Fairlay is basically a btc version of Pinny without country restrictions. There are other match makers too...Best thing to do is wager to MAX limits on the Fairlay APP that Danshan made since his CS service is A+++++++ his line sometimes is better then Pinny and he grades instant and even before match ends on overs.

Interesting. I was just about to use the older version because I liked the clean layout (i.e. all main MLB wagers on a single page). The new app does have all the markets but still requires stepping down through specific games. Not much better than the original Fairlay site.

I agree regarding steps and mentioned that but he doesn't agree with me as he did a beta with a sample group and they preferred it like that...The reason to use it though is the customer service he provides, ability to do PARLAYS, the odds and the fast grading even before games end in over markets..

but why use fairlay, if you have for example betbtc.co (2014) which also uses pinny lines (but without shady exchange bs), and also processes payments instantly and a much better ui, and bigger limits (up to 2btc on big events)?

I'm seeing that fairlay is matching pinnacle exactly in the markets I follow (golf tournament match-ups), while BETBTC is offering worse lines across the board. For example, fairlay odds for Mickelson (-102) vs Redman (-113.9) and BETBTC's odds have Mickelson (-103.2) vs Redman (-115.47).

edit to add: These odds were taken at the same time and are for the upcoming Northern Trust FedEx Cup PGA Tour event.
