Scam looks realistic but Metamask doesn't ask for KYC. The last one requires registering before July 2022.

I get them fairly often and I don’t even have an account at metamask. I get hammered thanks to Ledger leaking my name, phone number, email and physical address. That email and phone number basically became useless thanks to them. Just looking in my spam folder I see two from metamask, two from coinbase, one from pancake swap, blockchain, two from Amazon and two from PayPal. It’s nonstop. At least the phone calls and texts almost stopped.
