#8717What I gathered as well. They said I can keep it when it confirms. But I've never had a payout get sent and seen the invalid btc transaction message. I've had to wait a long time for payouts to be confirmed, but it showed up on the blockchain if I put the tx id or address.Originally posted by raiders72001Like Optional said, the problem is on the book's side. #8718I don't think you will ever see the payout if it hasn't hit the blockchain at all. I think it will expire when enough nodes forget it and it will then be returned to them.Originally posted by CrusherrrI've seen probably 50+ similar complaints from a stake page I'm on from people that used btc on the same day as myself. I've done other btc and litecoin transactions since and was paid instantly. Stake claims that they sent with a low fee and eventually it will be broadcasted and I will get paid but it may take a few weeks/months.
For the record- they have credited me this payout back to my account and apologized. They said I can keep this payout once it gets picked up and confirmed on the blockchain.
Glad to hear they were reasonable about it for you at least..Comment -

#8724Conducted another T/A thru Coinstar. Bought some Litecoin (LTC). Yes, I like the Coinstar setup.
Pretty seamless, confirmation on phone. Not a lot of bullshit.
I'm very happy with the LTC transactions. Lightning-quick. Confirmation is almost immediate.
One limitation of Coinstar. $1000 max on total Crypto transactions. I believe that is a lifetime limit for a given phone #.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#87261) You sign up for an acct. I signed up on the Coinme website. I believe you can also sign up for the phone app.Originally posted by raiders72001Walk us through the process, docs asked for and fees. I've never used Coinstar.
...Virtually no documentation required. You put in your name and connect it to a Phone #.
...No ID required.
...Your phone is going to receive any confirmation codes.
2) There are more than 20,000 Coinstar machines. Mostly at Grocery Stores.
...I was planning to use coins to purchase Crypto.
...But they don't take coins for Crypto. You can only turn Coins into Cash (with a massive 11% Fee) or Gift Cards (with no fee).
...Can only use bills to purchase Crypto.
3) Using bills to purchase Crytpo, you select the Coin (BTC, EtH, LTC, and others). You input your phone # at the Coinstar machine.
...You get a confirmation code on your phone. Input that code on the machine.
...You put bills into the machine. Hit confirm when you're done.
...Coinstar sends the coins to your acct, and you get a receipt. I don't know the exact % but there are fees (4%?).
4) When you get home, check your Coinme acct.
...The coins are in there.
...You can send the coins from your acct to an external wallet. There is a small fee to send coins.
...I've been using LTC, and it transfers quickly.
Success in my eyes, b/c it's turning Fiat into Crypto. And the coins are in my control.Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

#8727Interesting tidbits from IndependentReserve exchange;
SEC still hating on crypto and waiting until last moment to approve....
A decision on approving a raft of Bitcoin ETF applications could come through at any moment. However, BlackRock and the Bloomberg ETF analysts believe a January 10 approval is most likely. That's the final date for a decision one way or another, and it could be a way for SEC boss Gary Gensler to signal that the ETF is only grudgingly being approved because the regulator has been backed into a legal corner. Gensler wrote a thread about the dangers of investing in crypto this morning, which racked up 23 million views in about six hours. There has been a flurry of paperwork, with applicants filing their final 19b-4 forms at the end of last week and their S-1 form amendments yesterday (apart from Hashdex).
Mainstream traders still think there will be no EFT, so it is not priced in to current BTC value...
Crypto traders have been all over the potential ETF approvals since October. However, the news has not filtered through the ranks of TradFi just yet, suggesting it's not priced in. A survey by Bitwise found just 39% of US-based financial advisors believe a Bitcoin ETF will be approved in 2024 at all, much less tomorrow.
And how do we monitor ETF AUM inflows?
If approval is gained, we expect the market to move into a state of monitoring ETF AUM inflows. Currently, a number of ETF participants are offering reduced fees as an incentive to hit a nominal AUM targeted portfolio size. It makes intuitive sense, then, that monitoring month-to-month inflows will likely be the market's next key area of interest if any approval is gained.

#8741$47,320. Good Luck today, guys.
Just a few comments. Just my opinion:
1) I admit that some of the Altcoins/Tokens are over my head. I can't digest it all.
2) I have said a few times that I'm taking a renewed interest in Litecoin (LTC).
There are some basic reasons why I think LTC has a use-case:
a) The fees are minimal, virtually zero. You pay a fraction of a penny to transact.
b) The processing time is almost instantaneous. My confirmations come thru in minutes (at most).
c) Funding a vendor (like a sports-book) is much cleaner with LTC.
In the market, I know that LTC gets ignored. It's actually hard to even find a recent Youtube video that discusses Litecoin. Anyway, one last question:
*Does anyone like Litcoin? Or am I on an island?Where's the fuckin power box, Carol?Comment -

Forget the creator's name but when he sold his stash and left the project, a lot of people lost interest.
It's a solid coin. The last two bull markets it ran up to about $360 and then fell down in the ensuing bear market.
Re: the Litecoin chart, it goes up and down depending on bull and bear. What you want to see is incremental growth during the low points and Litecoin only slightly does that.... See the Bitcoin, Ethereum and even Tron charts in the "All" view to see what I'm talking about. That's what long term growth looks like....Comment -
