Do you guys think it is late for me to get into the Bitcoin game? I have had lots of success with stock market, especially recently but get a little jealous when I see Bitcoin go up 100% in last month or so! It is fun reading you experts on here, keep it up! I’m hoping SBR doesn’t run out of Bitcoin in the store, it’s the gift that keeps on giving right now!

Guys one thing to keep in mind as this thing keeps running up and the excitement grows circa December 2017, the scams are going to be running rampant. Be very careful with your coins, your backup phrases, your emails etc... definitely a good time to think about cold storage as well if not done so already.

What's the best way to store your backup phrases, a simple safe in your house? Other ideas?

All my backup phrases are in a safe and the coins are spread out between exchanges and wallets.

I like DOT and LINK right now. Biggest holds are BTC, ETH and ADA.

If you have that much you should keep some in your personal wallet(s).

I don't have nearly that much. I have mine spread out between cdc app, cdc defi wallet, ledger nano x, and nitrogen

I also use trust wallet and xumm (rip xrp, just waiting on my spark and dflr) but I have minimal holdings on those.

If I change btc to something like yen in kraken.com, will it specifically hold my cash in yen and updated against the dollar?

I ask this because you can just randomly click btc/yen in the trade section and your USD at the top will change to yen so it doesnt seem "officially" to be in yen

...but if i specifically move the btc to yen in the trade section, i should get yen, right?

That must have been another coin. Privacy coins such as Monero are starting to be delisted because of regulation. A lot of times these coins are the ones getting manipulated in the same way XRP is now. I'll try to jump on board as soon as it starts rising. I still want no part of XRP but will be watching privacy coins.
